First camping trip

Taking this guy on his first camping trip! I'm a little worried about being outside all day, staying in a tent overnight and our first trip to the beach. It will be his first time going for a swim, I hope he enjoys it. Would love to hear about any essential you pack and tips!

Havanese making weird noise

I have a appointment already scheduled with vet but just seeing if anybody has dealt with this before. My 7 month old boy Havanese has been making this interesting noise. He’s cheerful, doesn’t seem sick, still eating regularly. And he is fully vaccinated. I’m just worried

Rehomed my baby

My mother passed away the same day I got my cavopoo. The death was unexpected and I wasn’t handling it well. I then got a complaint from my landlord which triggered something and I began thinking the stress was too much. My pup developed bad seperation anxiety which was tough to deal with in my grieving state. I also didn’t want to lose my apartment in a depressive state of mind, where I was a zombie. Crying a lot. There was a family with 2 other pups huge backyard and lady worked from home. Also 2 kids. I ended up letting her go to this family. This pain has completely broken me! I miss my baby I loved her. I regret the decision and feel like I don’t even know what happened. I wasn’t in the right state of mind to make any decisions! Let alone such a big one! I feel like a horrible person!

My baby has diabetes. 😞

Bandit is 10 and has been drinking and peeing A LOT more than usual. We couldn't even go out for 2 hours and he peed twice, usually he could hold it. At night, 3 times.

I was so unsure about running to the vet because i didn't want to be that person that takes him there for things that could be nothing, but to the vet we went. He has diabetes.

So, my message to everyone who needs this, if something not normal is happening, it is better to laugh at another bill over something stupid then miss something important. Doc said he was so glad I came in because so many people come in too late to prevent other stuff from happening. I have to give him 2 shots a day and I DO NOT DO NEEDLES. He said, "You got this. You're a good mom. I will show you how to do shots."

And I did it! I gave him a shot this evening and it was easy!

Now the hard part, not having any treats in between meals. He's going to hate me for a minute.

His Highness Before and after the big groom

Thank God it grows back. We are not going this short again but I think he needed it for the summer. He gets brushed everyday and the groomer was so happy with his daily upkeep 😊 I did have a good cry when I got him back.

Air Travel With Pup and Laptop

Since the pet carrier counts as your carry on and you’re only allowed a personal item, how do you all travel with a laptop and your Havi? I’ve tried a backpack plus crossbody carrier and thin sleeve laptop backpack on my front with backpack carrier on my back and both were cumbersome. Is there a good backpack carrier with a place to put your laptop that I’m missing?
