I’ve had Hoyas for 9 years!!!! Have never had a bloom or even a peduncle 😩😩😩

I gave this Hoya start, had 2 very small vines just starting, to my daughter for her work. A short 6 months later and SHE HAS BLOOMS

I’m so jealous 🥺 to top it off they have an orchid that blooms constantly!! Picture #3 This is an EAST facing large window in a business plaza. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m assuming it gets light all day.

I think I’ve discovered the issue. These are neglected and left to themselves!! Watered when she remembers, because no one else cares 😂😂 I’m a mother hen and a hovering plant parent!!! All my plants grow amazingly well and are very rewarding, but no Hoya flowers even after adding lots of light, bloom fertilizer etc. any other suggestions welcome!!

So I guess my Hoyas are just going to be ignored for the rest of the summer and only watered when I can’t stand it anymore.

Who am I kidding 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have to look at all 100 plants (not just Hoyas) everyday!! I notice the smallest changes and love watching them grow. I’ll just go with empty hands from now on: no watering pail, scissors, or other eccourements!!
