Rooted hoya for sale

Y'all have seen most of these before... although I've mixed in some new ones :)

I think I'll just use this post forever now so I don't have to repost plants... will just delete plants once sold. And add new ones occasionally (will make separate post but ya) Then people don't need to ask me whether still available too. I'll try this for a month to see if this system works.

Pls read post on profile before claiming

Shipping cost is $15-20

A comparsion of inner variegated Hoya lacunosa

I see a lot of comments along the lines of

"They're all the same"! "How can you tell the difference?" etc

so I wanted to take a pictures to show the variation in these cultivars of hoya lacunosa.

I will start off by saying in the photo, there are 7 types. Minara, Variegated (we should really give this classic variegated one it's own name to prevent confusion), Souma, Bruno (sometimes people call this tricolour), Queen Midori, Asami Reverse, and Agni. I own Verdela and Golden flame too but 7 is enough to show the variability.

As you can see, while there is wide variation just within each cultivar, they do have differences that separate each other.

Before I get into their differences (at least from what I notice), I want to say: Please DO NOT try to identify your variegated lacunosa from these descriptions, especially if you are not very familiar with them. I can almost always identify 'Minara', 'Souma', 'Bruno', 'Midori' and the Variegated (normal), but this is only after I have propped dozens of hoya lacunosa, bought and shipped out dozens of lacunosa, seen dozens of lacunosa in other growing conditions, and so on.

The ONLY time you should add a cultivar label when it didn't come with one is if you have ZERO doubt in your mind that it is what you think it is. (matches exactly, and doesn't match to anything else).

TRUST YOUR LABEL unless you have STRONG reason to doubt it. As I said earlier, there are many differences that arise from changes in growing conditions, that are hard to describe here.

Now their differences (well more like what sets them apart):

Minara: Bigger, thinner leaves, that are often wavy. I practically never see any waviness in other lacunosa. The green areas also often cut through the leaf in streaks light green.

Souma: Consistent leaf shape, from narrowish to almost round in high light. This is the most unmistakable cultivar at least in my opinion. Pastel colors, stems/leaves that retain pink color for a fairly long time under high light, and sometimes a less glabrous feel.

Plain variegated: very small leaves in general. the largest leaves are far smaller than souma. Shape is same as souma but the leaf is thicker, and doesn't sunstress as readily.

Bruno: This one is in a lot of nurseries now. It has round leaves that curve downwards while the edges curl towards each other (this is probably a bad description... but if you look at photos you'll see what I mean). The best thing about this cultivar is its consistent leaf size and that it branches far more readily. The variegation pattern is similar to minara, but again, the edges are not wavy.

Lots of stuff left from previous purge, if not claimed it is still available !

I've started crossposting listings to Palmstreet, where videos are available. Prices there are 20-100% higher though since I don't like dealing with their fees there. But there the videos can be found. My account is FrederickBuce

[FS] - Salt Lake City, UT - $50 - 1 pcs high grade Bucephalandra var

Buyer will receive exact plant in photo. Grown Emerged. Big enough to start growing submerged.

Shipping is $10 USPS priority.

This specimen is selected from a batch of over 200 wild - collected vareigated bucephalandra. The white is much more prominent than most of the var buce on the market, and it has wavy edges. This plant has never been propagated, and is the only one with the specific genes. Even under high light, there is no pink color (unlike most var).

Live arrival guaranteed.

Looking for lacunosas!

Weird ISO, but I'm looking for the following lacunosa

Reverted forms of :bruno, souma, queen midori, minara, illumini

Both variegated and reverted forms of : verdela, platano, Agni, red leaf variegated (found!!), cinajur var, and whatever obscure var lacunosa you can think of (pls don't make up names though lols)

Cuttings are fine but pls have at least 3 nodes.

I'm trying to do research on lacunosas (morphological differences when grown under the same conditions (soil, light), along with hopefully genetic testing))

Dischidia hirsuta (wrinkle leaves)

To me this is almost like Hoya imbricata in it's leaves...

They are cupped and seem to want to hold onto something.

Quite different from my hirsuta (red leaves) that is more like the typical clone sold

this was going to be a small sale but then I took too many photos. So now there are a lot of plants. mix of fresh cuttings and rooted plants, will indicate. Some leftovers but many new ones

Fresh cuttings higher risk🙏

No pest to my knowledge but as always since I have plants outside and don't use pesticide (although beneficials are released) they are possible and you should quarantine

Will ship the 12th Friday, or the 15/16th. possibly the 19th Friday if I sell too many

Shipping starts at $14 - $20

Big hoya sale!!!

Hi all I have around 100 rooted hoyas for sale today! My plant room is very messy as I rearrange things...

I grow many plants outside so pests are possible, though I will inspect before shipping

Shipping (from Salt Lake City, UT) starts from $14 USPS priority, and can go up to $24 if location is far and many plants are purchased. No upgrades to shipping, please mind your weather.

I take venmo and PayPal only. buyer covers goods and services fees if applicable. No Zelle, no cash app, etc... Can invoice through palm street for 18% fee.

I may take up to 2 weeks to ship. Please be patient, I will ship as soon as I am able and the plants have good moisture level.

Passing after claiming plant is ok but please make sure to delete your comment AND message me/leave a comment to tell me. Please try to not pass though. Ghosting is not ok though (for obvious reasons)

After claiming a plant (the only way I will hold it for you is "sold". claim, interested, etc do not count), please message me with either list or screenshots of what you got, along with full address.

Thank you for looking!! I will likely finish posting around 3pm as Reddit often limits too many comments at a time

If I'm forgetting anything just ask
