Alr now, who's going to hull??. My friends from other universities seem to have groupchats alr but there's literally none from hull. What's going on?? Am I missing out, or is it that boring 😭😭.

Personally like the idea, mostly because it gives a really positive ans strong vision for the future for the wider region.

I’m leaving the RAF after 12 years next year and I am considering settling in Hull. I grew up in Somerset but have always been a big Hull City fan as my old man is originally from the East Riding. I’ve visited Hull on multiple occasions and always think it’s underrated and gets a bad rap.

I want some honest recommendations on which areas of Hull I should be considering buying a house in. I’m in my late 20s and will be moving with my girlfriend. I don’t really want to spend more than £160k but could raise that to £170k for the right house. 2 beds is fine. We are a pretty stereotypical young couple, like going out for walks and to the pub. I want to feel safe where we live but not too boring also.

We are planning to go up for a visit in a couple of weeks so I’m trying to get together a list of areas to visit.

Does anybody know why I can’t book a table at head of steam on their website? (Hull venue is not an option), nor can I call them (the call ends immediately). Has this place closed down or something…? I don’t live close enough to just swing by and check!

What is it with people from Hull getting on Hull Trains from London and it's like they have never been on a train before. Sitting in reserved seats (not theirs), confused about which carriage or seat number they are in, etc...

Travelling for work in Hull this week and hoped to get a wander round the city one of the evenings. I’m big into history, pretty spaces and architecture/old buildings. I’ll likely only be in the city for one evening and wouldn’t want to miss a hidden gem if you had one!

No need for food or anything like that, just a nice space to walk and see!

Looking for any information about any clubs/groups to join as an almost 30 man, I'm happy to try anything really so would appreciate any suggestions as struggling to find much searching myself

A trip down memory lane for some of you. When I was younger (around 15 or so years ago) I used to go into Waterstones and get a drink called a Double Chocolate Flake Indulgence which was absolutely delicious. Does anyone remember what cafe this was that was upstairs in Waterstones? I can’t recall if it was a Starbucks or independent cafe but those drinks were so good. If anyone remembers the cafe and can confirm this memory for me that would be great 😁
