Direct deposit
Quick question. So this is my first time with Huntington bank and getting my money sent into my account. My payday is Friday, but my buddy told me his direct deposit went in Wednesday morning. Is this true? Ty in advance.

I noticed fraudulent charges from 2 of my accounts. One on 7/22 for an ATM withdrawal for $600 and another ATM withdrawal for $200. I called and filed a dispute immediately and canceled the card. Then on 7/23 I noticed on my other Huntington account more fraudulent ATM withdrawals: 3 transactions, one for $600, one for $200 and one for $800. So again, I immediately called and filed a dispute. The bank informed me of the ATMs used for the withdrawal and they were within my state but both ATMs were in cities I had never been.
I have had fraud before but never ATM withdrawal, I still had both my physical cards so I assume skimming? Though honestly I don’t fully understand how that works…
Anyways, now I have been fighting with the bank for 4 weeks because they are saying the transactions are valid… they are also claiming I authorized these cards to “be added to a phone.” But I would not authorize anyone to add my cards to a phone and I didn’t even know you could do ATM withdrawals without a physical card!
The disputes have been closed and reopened twice now by me. When I try to speak to a person it’s impossible and they claim that the people who investigate the fraud for the bank is “not customer facing” so I cannot speak with them. The rep on the phone just keeps repeating the same talk track over and over again and not answering any of my questions…
What do I do? Collectively I am out $2400 which is a huge financial blow! I’m lost and also freaking out!
I still haven't been able to log in or have any contact with any branch or main phone number since i signed up. I posted a bit ago that since sign up, I haven't even been able to log into my account at all, along with not receiving password or username reset emails, along with them saying my login info & SS are incorrect even though they are in fact correct... along with leaving voicemails to local branches and trying every possible number and email to contact etc etc. to no avail. I even just got my debit card in the mail today but can't even log in to view any activity or anything. It's highly frustrating because my grandmother uses Huntington bank and it seems super secure for her money and funds and everything so I figured it could work in my favor too. I don't quite understand
This will be my first direct deposit with Huntington Bank, when should I be receiving it for this upcoming payment? I’m seeing conflicting information about the 2 days early being instant or 90 days after receiving dd’s.
so, back in march i tried to open my checking account online but it didnt let me, so i physically went in branch, opened up my account with a banker and made sure he applied a promo code for the promotion that they have going on.
fast forward to now, i still did not receive the promotional $400. so i reached out to customer service, and they tell me that it was never applied!
wow! shocker!
so i call the branch and speak with my banker, he says he remembers applying it for me. unsure why its not on the account. tells me he’ll speak with the branch manager and get back to me. entire week goes by and no call, so i called him again and he goes oh, sorry forgot to call you back and looks for his email to tell me that “I’ll need the code we used to sign up for your account”. i am like, “what do you mean you’ll need the random generated code that i used 6 months ago, i did not know i was supposed to save that code and put it in the locker and keep it safe” and he goes yeah that’s the only option we have or we can close your account and reopen it with a new code (the audacity) to which i responded i’d rather close my account than keep banking with you.
called customer service, and they just go “since it was opened in branch, we cannot help you with anything, might have been a technical issue if the code did not apply” okay so how is your company’s technical issue, my issue? how am i supposed to fix it?
its just back n forth and i dont know what to do? any help on how to move forward with this is appreciated. i do have statements that will show i opened it up in march (when they had the promotion going on) and also consistent $500+ direct deposit coming into my account.
How are we feeling about Huntington?
Has anyone recently joined or interviewed with Huntington Bank? How long does the entire process usually take from the initial interview to a final decision or offer? Any feedback or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated

Like I say in the title I (18) accidentally (as in didn’t realize) deposited a fraudulent check I was given. The amount was $500. I noticed it was sketchy the very next day and went in within 24 hours of cashing it in person to report it on Friday. Since then all three of my accounts including a joint savings and joint checking account with my mom have been put in a hold. I went in today and the lady who’s been very kind helping me out basically told me those accounts are on their way to closure after she spoke on the phone with the department. She called again and they said there’s a possibility the joint accounts could stay open if she sends sort of an appeal email and she’ll hear back in 3-5 days. My worry is I’ll be reported to Chex or the early warning system. If they don’t leave the accounts open, should I open another account now somewhere else and even if I do, will they close my account with them if Huntington reports me after the fact??
Huntington let my account overdraft a huge amount that I cannot pay. Is there any way to resolve this over time? I talked to customer service and they said only option is to to pay it. I don't get paid for 2 weeks so I will keep getting overdraft charges. My son has an account attached to mine and I don't want them to close his as well as mine.

I am new to Huntington as my old bank was acquired and just switched over to them. My old checking account was converted into a "Perks Checking account" When the account switched over in June I got an "IOD Interest paid" deposit of $12. In July I got an "Interest Payment" of $10. This month I got an "Interest Payment" of $1(which is basically what my old bank was paying). The account balance did not substantially change during any point month over month. I can't see anywhere on their website how they actually calculate interest on a perks checking account whether it be the rate or any requirements to earn interest. Did they just screw something up either last month or this month?I am just confused.
So on Monday of this week I went to target and tried to purchase $40 worth of groceries and my card kept declining even though it had like $300 in the account. The employee said sometimes their systems don’t work and it’s probably a them issue. Well later that day I needed to run to the phone store, it took 3 tries for it to go through. I also ordered a handful of things on Amazon and it went there perfectly fine. The next night I went out to eat with a few friends and it declined 3 times again. I called the customer service and they said the transfer I made before I went out hadn’t went through yet even though it shows that it did in the account. So I waited like 2 days and there were zero pending transactions so I went to use it again today with an updated balance of like $50 on a $4 Red Bull before work and it declined. (This was today) and I got to work and called the customer service and they said that the cards aren’t as fast as they used to be and that I should wait 1-2 hours before trying to use the card to make it updated. But I hadn’t transferred money since last night. So I don’t understand at this point and customer service isn’t helping and I haven’t been able to spend money for like a week. Which is not helpful. Anyone else been through this or have advice?
I was trying to get an auto loan from Huntington since I'm banking with them. I was filling out the application and I clicked on dealer purchase and it says "If you plan to purchase your vehicle from a dealership, please consult your dealer for financing options and let them know you are a Huntington Customer. If you are not purchasing your vehicle through a dealership, please select the correct loan type" why is that?
I opened up a checking account 2 days ago, and it still won't let me login at all since signup. I am using the username and password that I signed up with. But it says incorrect Username or Password when I try to login. I tried "forgot username & password" options but it never sends me an email. When I click the enroll now option, it says I'm "already enrolled with online banking." and I also tried calling 500 times but the automated robot voice hangs up on me every time after i say "Forgot Username" or "Forgot password" when it asks what I'm having trouble with after confirming my phone number and PIN. I've called at different times of the day during normal business hours. What is going on?
