Someone or something damaged my car trunk yesterday and I was wondering if there was an easy and affordable way to fix it. Would a warranty cover this? I don't want to get auto insurance involved.

Let me preface this by saying I really hope this doesn’t make me seem like a choosing beggar-

If anyone has a 2024-2026 Kona roof rack in the Chicagoland area they do not want, I will gladly pick it up.

Some VERY kind redditors offered their roof racks to me but they are very sadly not within driving distance, so I am wondering if anyone near me has some collecting dust.

I know sometimes dealerships make you pay for them even if you don’t want them. I’m hoping someone near me has a rack that’s taking up space in their garage and would prefer it gone.

Again, I know this is a big ask. Truly, I’m looking for a symbiotic kind of relationship if that makes sense. I don’t want to take it from someone who may need to sell it for extra cash, etc. (Also trying to get around the no buying/selling subreddit rule.) I’m hoping this isn’t against the rules.

But more specifically for this part, anyone know where to get?

Hello, I am a brand new Kona owner, my wife and I purchased a 23 with 33K miles.

We are driving from Missouri to Indiana, about 6 hours 400 miles.

The week after we are driving to Georgia, it’s about a 14 mile trip one way.

We just got this vehicle and have had it in our possession for around 8 days. We have put around 300 miles on it in that week and it has ran great, its most recent inspection was right before it was delivered via Carvana.

Any advice on sport mode on the road? Anything I should look out for as we head out? We are under warranty until 60K miles and have the Gold package of Insurance through Carvana which covers just about everything except general maintenance.

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with Apple CarPlay on my 2024 Hyundai Kona Preferred AWD.

My iPhone won’t even connect to CarPlay. When I plug it into the USB data port, the screen says it’s reading the USB, but then the yellow/orange light near the USB icon starts blinking. The phone starts charging for a second, stops charging, reconnects again, and keeps repeating this cycle continuously.
CarPlay never actually launches.

I already tried:

Different USB cables
Restarting the car and phone
Cleaning the iPhone charging port
Disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times

Still no luck.

Has anyone experienced this on the new Kona or Hyundai infotainment systems?
I’m wondering if this could be:
a faulty USB port,
a software issue,
power instability from the port,
or some compatibility issue with the cable/iPhone.

Any advice would help.

Hey everyone! I'm looking into buying a Kona for my first car and I see this listing, it's nice, cute, and well priced.

Small problem, I can't figure out if these lines on the driver assistance are normal?

This is a 2024 Hyundai kona limited and I check my mom's car (2024 Santa Fe limited) and I don't see these lines

Could someone help me identify if there is an issue?

Only issue I've had is running over a bloody nail on the way home. £30 puncture repair.

Coming from a Yaris Cross. Big jump. Just feels so much nicer inside and to drive. Very happy with everything except Bluelink. I have Plus which has remote services but the only options are lock/unlock, beep the horn and put hazards on? 🤣

I was expecting remote climate change. It's the N Line S. I guess it's not available in the UK?

Speaking of tech, trying to update over USB. Left it plugged in around an hour but still "preparing". Does it start from scratch when you turn off the car or carry on?

Does anyone know what is meant by Maintenance? Is this just a push to get you back to the dealer or is there more to it? I have done the oil changes myself and record that for reference if needed for warranty but not sure there's a way to track it in the system.

I got curious and grabbed the car frkm the front while parked rocked it back and forth.. the engine rocked like a boat in the ocean lol heard the same thing. Did they fix the wrong engine mount?

In my girl friends Kona only her phone will connect to car play via Bluetooth. I can get it with a cord and that’s it. We both have an iPhone 16 so I’m not sure what I could be doing wrong. I’ve reset everything and am still having this issue.
