To all Hyundai Kona owners, is your steering wheel stiffer to turn than other cars/brands? I noticed it’s much stiffer but not sure if this is normal or there’s an issue. Just comparing it to brands like Toyota, Honda, etc. thanks!
Hi all - I’m picking up my crown Signia tomorrow and wanted people’s opinion on what to add on/buy. Mine comes with mud guards and all weather floor mats already. I was thinking to get the illuminated door sills from the dealer to make the car feel more premium. I’m considering door guards as well because I park in a garage but people on Reddit seem mixed opinion on them. Anything else that’s worthwhile from the dealer?
As for independent add ons, I’m gonna buy a screen protector, a center console organizer and seat gap filler. I’m debating the dashcam (I don’t know a single person who has one and I don’t want wires going everywhere). Do you guys know any other good things to buy either for protection or to look cool?
I am considering the crown puddle lights as well but do they go with the Signia XLE? Wife thinks puddle lights are a waste of money but the pics looks so cool haha. What do you guys think?
Hi all - I just bought a 2026 crown Signia XLE. When I was diving it off the lot, the guy said to use top tier gas only and gave me a website. I usually use BJ’s as the cheapest gas by me but it wasn’t on the website. The next cheapest option is 42 cents more expensive. I guess my question is do you guys use only top tier gas? And what will happen to my car if I use BJ’s gas? Thanks!
Hi all - due to needing the car now, I’ll have to go with the black interior for my crown Signia instead of saddle tan (which takes a month to be delivered). Convince me that the black is good! I do like the gold accents but trying to talk myself into loving storm cloud with black interior. Thanks!

Hi all - I got a Vehicle Selling Price of $41,850 on a 2026 Crown Signia XLE. This brings my total OTD price to $45,500 with taxes and registration. Is this a good price or should I continue pushing? Hi all, I’m moving to Melrose and will be working near North Station so I wanted to ask about the reliability of the 137 and 132 bus in the morning. The commuter rail doesn’t run very often so for a 9 am start, I would have to get the 7:44 am train which is way too early. Instead, I want to take a bus to Oak Grove. My questions are 1. Is it a hassle/annoying to switch from a bus to train at oak grove? 2. Are the 137 and 132 buses reliable? Are they usually on time? And lastly, 3. It’s $90 for an unlimited pass to use bus and T right? Compared to $217 if I used the commuter rail? Just want to make sure I get the pricing right! Thanks!

Hi all - the crown signia, X3, and GLC all are around $50k after I saw them and negotiated. So between these 3, what should I pick? From my research, it looks like the X3 and GLC will depreciate a lot more than the Crown Signia. They also look like they’ll cost a lot more to maintain plus they take premium fuel and aren’t hybrid. I view this as all things in the CS’s advantage. However, are there other items these 2 cars have that put them over the Crown Signia? For example, is ride quality much better or is sound isolation much better? I only drive each for 10 minutes or so and I couldn’t get a good idea from a short test drive. What do you think? Which would you buy? I value comfort on long road trips, a quiet ride, and obviously cheaper cost is a plus. Thanks!

I’m filling out a Form 709 thanks to this community. I am gifting half an apartment to my father. Is there a way I can satisfy “adequate disclosure” without paying $1500 for an appraisal? (I called 3 companies today and they all quoted 1500 in the Miami area). So by law, Florida statues say that your property is given a market value adjustment on January 1. I found this online and the value does indeed change every year. Is this enough for adequate appraisal? If I do the transfer in September, do I attached the January 1 2026 market value or the January 1 2027 market value?
Also, I see a value that Zillow puts on the apartment (it’s higher than the county property value) but it’s not scientific or anything. Does anyone know if the IRS will accept the market value given by the county property tax office? I really don’t wanna pay for my own appraisal. Thanks
Hi all - I’m currently on my parents car insurance and moving states. This sub says my dad needs to sign a car over to me, file a Form 709 Gift Tax, and then I get car insurance in my own name. What if instead of giving me the whole car, my dad just adds me to the title (so we are both on the title). This will avoid my needing a Form 709. Can I then get insurance in my name or will it be more difficult with him on the title? Will insurance be more expensive or less with him on the title? Or, if it’s the two of us, can I stay under his car insurance while living out of state? Thanks!

NJ doesn’t charge any sakes tax on car transfers between family members but instead you write the word “Gift” on the bill of sale. Do we need to fill out a Form 709? Hello all - I just test drove the 2026 models of both cars. The rav4 XLE premium is $40,500 before taxes, the Crown Signia XLE is $42,800 before tax. You can negotiate on the crown but not the Rav4. Everyone says the Crown Signia has more sound deadening and better suspension but I didn’t feel it (they were 10 min test drives and I’m not a car person so idk). However, the crown Signia was a lot nicer on the inside.
The drawbacks of the Crown Signia are that it is the old gen Hybrid powertrain plus it seems to depreciate much faster than the RAV4. Car edge says it will lose $15k in value vs $7k for the rav4 (over 5 years). Those are my only 2 concerns with the Crown Signia. Would these be dealbreakers for you? I want to have the car for 5 years so def considering resale value. I also am not sure how much better the new Toyota hybrid system is over the old one.
Considering these 2 cars, what would you choose and why? I am a single guy with no family but live in New England so snow is a factor. Thanks!
Hi all - funny story just happened to my friend and I immediately thought of this sub. He got laid off and an external recruiter called him and pitched him a job requiring 1-3 years of experience (he had 5). He got the job and during the background check he actually got another offer that was better suited to his skills. He literally got the offer on the first day of the new job the recruiter got him. He immediately put in his 2 weeks notice on his current job on the first day. They actually paid him the 2 weeks too. Then the external recruiter calls him up and she is pissed. She claims not only will she not get paid, but that client won’t ever use her again. My friend just said”what did you expect, you hired someone with 5 year me of experience for a junior role” and hung up. Oh feels good to turn the tables on a recruiter
