I applied for the IBM Associate System Engineer role (Job ID: 133547) and received the coding assessment invitation.

I'm trying to understand how the recruitment process is progressing for this particular requisition.

If you've applied for the same role, could you please share your current status?

1. Have you completed the coding assessment?
2. Have you received any interview or next-round invitation after completing it?
3. If you received an interview invitation, how long did IBM take to contact you after the assessment?
4. Is this requisition part of an off-campus hiring drive, and are 2025 graduates eligible?
5. Has anyone's application status changed on the IBM careers portal?

I'm particularly interested in updates from candidates who applied under Job ID 133547, rather than other IBM ASE drives.

IBM experienced role (Technical Consultant) Offer Letter release time ? how much ? Had my HR round etc on 25/09/2026 , but still OL not received , HR saying its pending for approval any suggestion by when i can expect

Has IBM stopped/reduced off-campus hiring? Interviewed on May 14, still waiting for updates ?

I interviewed with IBM on May 14 for an off-campus drive.
Here’s my timeline:
May 14: Interview
Same day evening: Received a BGC (background verification) email from IBM
SAME day: HR called me regarding the BGC and asked me to complete it
August 20: Received an LOI (Letter of Intent) and accepted it immediately
After August 20: No further updates
My portal is still showing “Interview in process.”
I’ve been waiting for the next step/offer letter but haven’t received any update so far.
Does anyone know if IBM has stopped or slowed down off-campus hiring recently?
Also, if anyone interviewed around May or June and received an LOI on July /August, have you received any further update or offer letter?
Any information about the current IBM off-campus hiring/onboarding situation would be really helpful.

So basically I joined IBM in June 2025. Been in mid tier rating last year and may be this year also. When can I expect to get a hike, I am unaware and rather unclear with hike cycle. This is the first time in my career I will be getting an annual hike tbh. In prev company, I was merely part of appraisal cycle with theirs terms being very weird. Anyways please some one help me with it. My job level is 6B PMR is 119 if thats needed

I joined a Big 4 recently, but I'm routinely working 12+ hours every day and it’s unsustainable. I just got an offer from IBM.
For anyone who’s worked at IBM or made a similar move:

1. Is the work-life balance at IBM actually better than Big 4?
2. Is leaving Big 4 this early worth it for peace of mind?
   Appreciate any advice

Moving to radon has been the worst decision by leadership. They are now asking everyone from BCIT to move as well.

How can they expect us to travel 2 hours in traffic, work, spend 2 hours again to return home and then attend meetings at night?

I am yet to meet someone who is happy with this change of location.

I recently cleared the initial screening and received the shortlist mail for the IBM India hiring process.

My next rounds are:

6th Oct: Coding Assessment + Behavioral Assessment + SHL Assessment
7th Oct: Offline Interview (if shortlisted)

I wanted to ask seniors or anyone who recently appeared for the same/similar IBM process:

1. Coding Assessment:

• What was the difficulty level - Easy/Medium/Hard?
• How many coding questions were there?
• Which DSA topics should I prioritize?
• Were the questions mostly LeetCode/HackerRank style?

2. Interview:

• What topics were mainly asked?
• How much focus was there on projects/resume, DSA, OOP, DBMS, OS, CN and SQL?
• Was there live coding or pen-and-paper coding?
• What type of questions were asked from projects?

Any recent experience/tips would be really helpful. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I completed my IBM Associate System Engineer (ASE) interview on June 4th. On the same night, I received the Background Verification (BGV) form and completed it.

On July 10th, I received an LOI (Letter of Intent) from IBM. Since then, I haven't received any further updates regarding the offer or joining.

It has been quite some time now, so I'm wondering:

Is anyone else in the same situation?

How long does IBM usually take after sending an LOI?

Is it still worth waiting, or should I start focusing on other opportunities?

If you received an LOI around the same time, please share your current status. It would really help to know what others are experiencing.

On PIP and resigning during the PIP period
I’m currently working at IBM India and have been put on a PIP.
I’m considering resigning while the PIP is still ongoing. I wanted to understand from people who have actually gone through this at IBM India:
If I resign while I’m on PIP, does the PIP continue during my notice period?
Can IBM mark me as “failed PIP” even though I have already resigned?
Does a failed PIP have any impact on the resignation/relieving process, experience letter, or F&F?
Can they terminate me during my notice period because I failed the PIP?
Has anyone here actually resigned while on PIP at IBM India? What happened in your case?
I’m mainly looking for first-hand IBM India experiences, not general advice about PIPs at other companies.

Did any one know or any idea howz the question pattern. the question level(hard,easy,or medium). How much preparation is enough. and what mostly topics to focus on (only array & string be fine).
