When can I expect hike

So basically I joined IBM in June 2025. Been in mid tier rating last year and may be this year also. When can I expect to get a hike, I am unaware and rather unclear with hike cycle. This is the first time in my career I will be getting an annual hike tbh. In prev company, I was merely part of appraisal cycle with theirs terms being very weird. Anyways please some one help me with it. My job level is 6B PMR is 119 if thats needed

28M | Pune | Looking for a life partner, but preferably someone to fall in love with first :)

Hi folks,

28M from Pune, looking to meet someone with the intention of eventually dating, building a life together, and getting married if things work out.

A little about me:

- Based out of Pune for the past 16 years.

- B.E. graduate and currently working as a Data Engineer, with around 4.5 years of experience.

- Salary: ~₹17 LPA.

- Hindu Padmashali by background. I personally don’t believe in caste, but I’d preferably like to meet someone from a similar background. That said, it’s not a deal-breaker.

- South Indian, Telugu is my mother tongue, but having grown up in Maharashtra, I’m equally comfortable with Marathi, Hindi and English.

- I enjoy bike rides, travelling, adventures, gaming, music, movies, camping and swimming.

- I’m also a very good bathroom singer and an occasional cringe Instagram video actor — neither of which I am particularly proud of. 😅

- Gym used to be part of the routine, currently on a break, but planning to get back to it.

About relationships

I haven't really been in a serious relationship before. After school, this is probably the first time I'm genuinely looking for something like this — partly because I feel ready for it and partly because, well… family pressure has finally entered the chat. 😂

I don't come from a fancy upper-middle-class background. I've seen my share of struggles and had to build things gradually, and that's something I value in a person as well.

I'm looking for someone who is loyal, caring, honest, funny, supportive and career-oriented.

Ideally, I'd like to meet someone who has gone through her own share of struggles, learned from them, and has built the life she has today through her own efforts. Someone who wants to continue building things together rather than expecting everything to already be figured out.

I'd especially like a relationship where we're both able to pursue our careers, passions and random side hobbies, while supporting each other along the way.

Age preference: 24–28.

Regarding past relationships, I would personally lean towards someone who hasn't had a serious relationship before, mostly because I feel it would be nice if we're both experiencing this whole "figuring out a relationship" thing together for the first time. That said, it's not a deal-breaker, and what matters much more to me is the person and the kind of relationship we can build.

I'm not looking for perfection or a checklist. Just someone genuine, emotionally mature, ambitious in her own way, and willing to put in the effort to build something meaningful together.

If this resonates with you, or if you know someone who might be a good fit, feel free to DM me. We can start with a conversation and see where it goes.

Worst case, we get a good conversation out of it. Best case… maybe this post ages really well. 😄
