I posted this in a Catio subreddit and someone there suggested I post here too. I hope this fits!

I made it for my 2 barn cats that are also companion cats that recently retired to indoor life in the city. The bones are IKEA IVAR with 1” hardware cloth. We cut up pieces of carpet on the smaller side and added IKEA cat accessories on the larger side.

Haven’t completely finished since we don’t have a lock or hinges yet, but is a good size for two cats. And they love it!

IVAR pieces used are in the photos. Total cost wasn’t calculated, but about $250 cdn. It took about a day to put together with two people and hand tools.

I seem to have received a cephalopawd.

My husband and I are eating dinner; he looks up and starts laughing. I turn around to see this goofball.

Definitely missing a few screws or dowels

The duality of nap time in this house. Oreo is tucked into the tightest little crescent shape known to dogkind. Meanwhile Granola is out here defying gravity and looking completely disassembled 🤣
