I lived Michael my entire life, from watching the variety show on tv as a kid, my first 45 was Rockin Robin, to becoming reinvested upon hearing the biopic was going to be a reality back on November 6 last year. As a birthday present to him and for me, I have the epitome of the perfect weekend planned.

August 28 & 30 will be at Hayvenhurst for the King of Popcorn event, hosted by Prince’s charity, Heal Los Angeles Foundation.

August 29, his actual birthday, I just secured tickets, thanks to another community member (will give a shoutout if I can find your name!) to the In The Studio With MJ : Brad x2!

If it’s allowed, and I’m not too starstruck (and crying, for obvious reasons) I’ll post pics when I get home. Am I really going to meet Prince? He’s so awesome, and I know his daddy is so proud of him ✨👑♾️✨

So I used to use Seresto collars. For YEARS. When I adopted my 2 boys just over a year ago, I put them on. As MC kittens do, they grew so quickly that one day I ripped the collars off of them when I couldn’t get 2 fingers under it and freaked out that I was choking them. So I really didn’t find a new preventative. They’re indoor only, no fleas or anything ever, and I’ve become very anti-chemical lately. Plus, I really love the natural look of their neckline.

So anyway, a couple of weeks ago, I found a flea when combing one of them. No dirt, and only one flea, but eww. So I did a little research and decided on Revolution plus. Got the script from the vet, chewy had a great discount, so yay. Umm, not so much. Within a week, Kyri developed what appeared to be a severe allergic reaction. Almost $300 later, 2 shots: antibiotic and antihistamine, and I’m still giving oral steroids.

Well, they’re both still scratching. I don’t find any new fleas, but they seem so uncomfortable. I’m taking them in for a full grooming/dematting as soon as I can get an appointment. So do I go back to Seresto? I always swore by them for the dozens and dozens of furbabies I’ve had over the years. I hate to put a collar on them, but maybe that’s a vanity me problem?

I think it may be fan made, but appreciation for inspired creativity ✨👑♾️✨

Channeling The King ✨👑♾️✨

I listened to everyone’s advice. I took temptations treats and phone outside. I shook the container and called his name. I opened a game on my phone to settle in for the search. I hear a meow. I look up after the second meow (my game hadn’t even loaded yet) and there he is, sauntering towards me like this is normal. Such a jerk. He came up to me, let me pick him up straight away, and I carried him into the house. It took less than 10 minutes. He’s eaten 2 servings of wet food and used the litter box. I may actually get some sleep tonight. Thanks to everyone who read my post and commented. You’re all amazing people!

On November 6, 2025 the first official teaser dropped for the biopic. I bought stock in Lionsgate for $6.60/share that day. I’m not rich or wealthy, so I think I got maybe 100. It’s now $16.63/share, the highest it’s ever been.
