Anyone else finding Skullpanda pieces outside of official drops?

I’ve been collecting Skullpanda for a bit now, mostly sticking to official drops, but lately I’ve also been exploring secondhand options. I’ve seen some interesting listings through trades, resellers, and even a few live auctions on whatnot.

What surprised me is how often older series, opened boxes, or dupes pop up when people are downsizing collections. It feels more relaxed than fighting drop times, and sometimes you get to hear why someone is letting a piece go.

Not trying to buy or sell here, just curious. Are most of you sticking strictly to drops, or are you also picking up Skullpanda through secondhand or live platforms?

Still undecided From XR to 16e or 17e

Hi everyone, I’m planning to replace my 128GB iPhone XR soon, which I’ve had since November 2019, with a new iPhone. I’ve been looking at the iPhone 16e because it has the features I’m interested in (I was also looking for a smaller Iphone, but they don’t make them anymore), and especially because of the competitive price — I have a psychological limit of staying under €500.

Do you think it makes sense to spend a bit more and wait for the iPhone 17e instead? What concerns me the most is storage space. It’s never really been a big issue for me, but if photos and videos keep getting larger, it could become one.

The most important things for me are battery life and signal reception/antenna quality, because on my XR both are basically terrible at this point. What do you think?

iPhone 16e concerns about C1 modem

Dear All,

I was quite enthusiastic about the 16e as on paper it seems like a great deal but once I held it in my hands I quickly felt disappointed. unlike with my iphone 12 the signal bars (mobile network reception) would typically be only 2 out of 4 (iphone 12 mostly 4/4) and the ping test revealed a ping of 30, versus 12 on my iphone (with 5g)

also, indoors like in supermarkets mobile internet has issues. Apparently the 16e was an "experiment" and the C1 is not proven at all.

So now I am wondering if I should send it back and simply keep using my 12 until it falls apart, and buy the 17e at some point.

How is SE 2 vs SE 3 vs 16e ?

I was wondering how is the upgrade from a se 2 to the se 3 vs 16e would be. How would the 16e be compared to for thumb only use and portable as a one-handed phone without adjusting hand like how the se series are and the difference in battery durability and performance. What cases for the 16e if size is uncomfortable ? How can one adapt to home button as opposed to no home button for one handed portable use ?

Should i choose the iphone 14 Plus or the 16e?

Need suggestions, in my budget, i can either buy a 14 plus or a 16e. And I'm buying this instead of the 13 pro or other base varients, because I care too much about battery

USB-C to 3.5mm adapter + Apple EarPods issue on iPhone 16e

I purchased a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter so I could use my Apple EarPods with my iPhone 16e. However, I’ve run into an annoying issue when using the EarPods through the adapter.

If I pause whatever I’m listening to, after a few minutes I’m unable to resume playback again — either using the on-screen controls or the EarPods controls. The audio simply won’t start playing again unless I disconnect and reconnect the adapter.

This happens across several apps, including Spotify, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.

I already tested the EarPods on another device and they work perfectly fine, so I don’t think the headphones themselves are the problem. From what I’ve found online, it seems like it could be an iOS bug, but I wanted to ask here in case anyone else has experienced the same issue.

Has anyone found a fix or figured out whether this is related to the adapter, the phone, or iOS itself?

Thanks!

26.5. How is it for you?

The title says it all. I know we’re only 5 days in but I want people’s feel of it. Specifically battery life, but just how your main experience is.

Ditching the “babysitting” mentality

My phone recently hit 96% battery health. I’m kind of done “babysitting” the phones battery by doing 20-80 percent charge cyle. I want to ditch that and just use my phone as a “phone” and to it’s full potential. Is that a good idea when I plan to keep the phone long term also?

Issues

Now look, I love my 16e, but it has had some insane camera issues. There’s a really bad focusing problem when I use the camera, I had the module replaced last week, but still was happening.

The camera has a hard time focusing on anything, whether it being my Apple Watch, computer, or anything, really. And it doesn’t matter if it’s good lighting, outside lighting, low light, it will always show the focusing problem. And, I have noticed it when holding the iPhone vertically, as well as horizontal, which it mainly happens in. And I do not block any sensors when taking photos and only use the Camera app on iOS. I make car content with the phone, and it becomes a true nuisance when I go inside and film in the car.

The iPhone 16e battery life is actually insanely reliable

I’ve been using the iPhone 16e for a while now after using the iPhone SE 2020 for five years and honestly, the battery backup deserves more appreciation than it gets.

My usage isn’t exactly “light” either. A normal day for me includes:
- social media scrolling
- watching YouTube videos
- monitoring charts on TradingView
- using MetaTrader 5 frequently throughout the day

Despite that, the phone comfortably lasts me an entire day without anxiety. I’m ending most days with charge still left instead of desperately hunting for a charger by evening.

What impressed me even more is the battery health situation. I’m currently at 100% maximum capacity even after 150 cycles, which is honestly solid.

A lot of discussions around iPhones focus only on cameras or performance, but for daily practical usage, good battery consistency matters much more. The 16e has been surprisingly dependable in that regard.

Anyone else having a similarly good experience with the battery life on this device?
