Wife has a new iPhone 16e. When it connects to her 2015 Honda Accord LE by Bluetooth, the hands free phone works but no audio from Google Maps (or Apple Maps), either through the head end in the car or from the phone. However, if we turn off Bluetooth on the phone, the Map audio prompts come through the phone’s speaker.

I have tried all settings I can find. The 2015 Accord does not have Apple Car Play. It would be okay to just have the prompts for the phone, but we get no audio prompts at all when Bluetooth is connected.

Any ideas?

Wife’s 2015 Accord. Her iPhone 16e is pared and hands free works normally. However, Google Maps audio voice prompts do not come through the audio system. With the phone’s Bluetooth turned off, the voice prompts are heard normally from the phone. It’s also the same problem with Apple Map. I have tried removing and re-pairing many times. I can’t find any settings that help.

Can I run BX (metal jacket) cable secured to a wall without additional protection?
