Right after security at Bengaluru Airport Terminal 1, you can take the escalator up to the 080 Lounge section. We headed towards the reception on the right and enquired about access to the VIP Lounge.

Initially, the staff informed us that the lounge was at full capacity and no seats were available. Since I really wanted to experience the VIP section, I told them we were happy to wait. Luckily, after just around 5 minutes, we were allowed in!

The VIP Lounge is located inside the main 080 Lounge, with a separate door leading to an exclusive section. The moment we entered, the difference was noticeable. The ambience was calm, peaceful, and elegant, with none of the usual airport lounge rush. It genuinely felt more like dining at a premium restaurant than sitting in an airport lounge.

Unlike the regular buffet setup, we were provided with dedicated food and drinks menus.

Here's what we tried:

- Prawn and Avocado Tartlet – 8/10

- Thai Minced Chicken Salad – 9/10

- House Baked Muffin – 8/10

- Grilled Bombay Sandwich – 9/10

For drinks, we had fresh pineapple and watermelon juices, a mocktail, and some cold drinks.

The food was really good, especially the Thai Minced Chicken Salad and Grilled Bombay Sandwich, which were our favourites!

We spent around 2 hours in the lounge, enjoying the food, drinks, and relaxing atmosphere. There was absolutely no rush, making the entire experience feel exclusive and comfortable.

The only minor downside was that a few items listed on the menu weren't available. However, that didn't take away much from the overall experience.

Final Verdict: 10/10 ⭐

The 080 VIP Lounge is definitely worth experiencing if you have access. The peaceful ambience, à la carte dining, and premium restaurant-like atmosphere make it a significant upgrade over a typical airport lounge. Would absolutely love to visit again!

Overall, a premium experience if you have an eligible card! They take you in through a secret door, which adds to the vibe.
The food was mostly great (the pasta was delicious, but the burger was a letdown). The beverage menu was limited and average.
It’s à la carte, with a 20–30 min wait per order, so keep 1.5–2 hours in hand and order everything at once. It was moderately crowded, probably because many of us discovered it through reels!

Visited the 080 VIP section at Bengaluru T2 recently using my ICICI Emeralde Private Metal. It’s called the Courtyard Club and is inside the main 080 Lounge, rather than a separate lounge.

The seating was the best part for me. Fewer people, more space and a much quieter atmosphere than the main section. If you just want to sit comfortably before your flight, it’s a nice upgrade.

Food was where it fell short. You use the same buffet as the regular lounge, and it’s quite a walk from the VIP seats. Getting another serving means making that trip again.

Having visited the T1 VIP lounge too, I missed its à la carte menu and live counters. T2 felt nicer to sit in, but I enjoyed the overall experience at T1 more.

Also, regular 080 lounge access doesn’t automatically include the VIP section, so check your card’s eligibility.

Anyone else tried both? Curious whether you’d pick T2 for the quieter seating or T1 for the food.

Background- My cc history started in Dec 2025 when I got axis neo after airtel card was rejected. Got the axis airtel anyway in June 2026(after devaluation) and have been using it since, getting 500+ cashback every month. But it turns out effectively I'm getting only 2.7%. Also tracking the base category spends is tough. So thinking to get a dedicated card for airtel black bill(can be paid only in airtel app).

Preferences for Credit Card Features: 1. Rupay cc for food/groceries offline for small spends(<100 rs) that gives atleast more than 1% what I currently get from axis airtel(only for >100 rs) 2. A dedicated card for airtel black bill(can be paid only in airtel app).3. Planning to get amazon icici cc since I'm amazon prime customer and use amazon

Reward preference- mostly cashback

Lounge access reqd- no (currently got it covered by debit cards)

P.S.- I got 5 hard enquiries in last 6 months(after 4 Apr). Planning to apply hsbc rupay cashback cc and amazon icici cc tomorrow.(5 Oct). Please give your suggestions if I should wait more or apply tomorrow

Visited the airport lounge for the first time today at Bengaluru T1, and got access using my IndusInd Tiger Credit Card.

I got the card just about a month ago, so this was my first time actually using its lounge benefit.
