I wanna go pro I am almost 18 i haved played not regularly but played enough from 14 , I wanna ask can I go pro here in India cause i really wanna play for indian national team , left footed player rw/rb/lb 6'1 , can you guys guide me 🙏

There should be a global knockout tournament like the FA Cup for the rest of the nations which don't stand a chance in the traditional qualification pathway.

This will also act as a tournament complementing the world cup.

The tournament can be conducted first at regional confederation level and then a central tournament at a neutral venue for the teams selected in ro32.

Bye to top nations of each confederation till a required level.

Top 4-8 teams of the entire tournament to get direct qualification for the world cup along with the world cup hosts.

Top teams selected for the central tournament from each confederation to be directly qualified for confederation cups.

Qualifications to the world cup to be rearranged according to the ratio of members in each confederation.

And the knocked out teams will play the traditional qualification route.

Teams will have 2 chances at qualification to the world cup and will also have a chance at glory through this tournament.

All matches being knockout, all teams will play with intensity and this will prevent dilution of the tournament.

It would keep things interesting even for fans and would prevent 'Seasonal' support of football for nations which don't have a direct shot through normal qualification.

They are literally an African country with a mere 500K people. They didn't even have good facilities. They literally called their defender on LinkedIn when he was doing a job for living and left it to join them for the WC.

And then there is a country with over 1.4B people, more resources than that country and still couldn't even make it to the WC and yet they are still crying about cricket.

This is shameful.

I didn't watch the match but saw the video in news the next day and also clearly recall the photo in newspapers with him laying on his back with hollow, lifeless eyes.

I was 9 at the time but recall hearing both Kolkata giants had fallen way behind Dempo. By the time I started following club football (2007-08) Subrata Paul was already a star player. Was he taunted or abused by rival fans in the immediate aftermath of his club comeback after the incident? He was given a suspension for 3 months.

From the video it was clear Paul was nowhere close to winning the ball. Later they said the death was due to cardiac arrest and not necessarily due only to the collision, not sure how plausible that is.

How strong was Paul's goodwill in the footballing fraternity? YouTube doesn't host any videos of the incident now from what I checked (understandable), although I recall watching Miklos Feher's final moments on the pitch before his death while playing for Benfica in Jan 2004.

Did any of you go the match? How long did they delay medical attention? Curious to know your views. Peace.

Back in the days even during offseason it was a vibe most of the fans tracked the plauer transfers but now all the pages have stopped and there is no fan fight between fans, for the past 3 years i havent seen a kbfc, cfc, bfc fans fighting anywhere and my question is that is the whole community dead.

basically the title, There are no sources of offical salaries like the premier league in England but many claim that Indian players earn high income (higher than top 5 league,rotation players) and this is the reason they choose to stay in India... also if these players are actually paid high amounts, then how is it possible? because the no one comes to watch the league irl+ low sponsors in isl
