what are your opinions on tamil serials?

I've been watching a few Vijay TV serials and I'm noticing a pattern.

FL is always expected to adjust, sacrifice, forgive and prove herself, while ML can make huge mistakes and still get a happy ending.

There is Kadhal Kadhal Kadhal, a new serial. ML loves his boss even though she has rejected him. Instead of respecting her no, the story seems to be moving towards him trying harder and doing romantic things to win her over. at what point is persistence not romantic anymore?

why do so many serials treat forced marriage, controlling behaviour and lack of boundaries as romance?

but real life-la neraya people are changing and questioning these old ideas. appo why are serials still showing this as normal?

Do you guys notice this too, or am I overthinking? 😭

Maturely handed a very sensitive topic

I don't know if this is going to be Meiyazhagan in Tamil or another best flick for Suriya but I absolutely loved vas as a whole. Lots of laughs, maturely handled, and beautifully written. It left me with such a warm feeling after walking out of the theatre ❤️🥹
