Monika, attempting to maintain control of the script, tried to delete Natsuki. The deletion failed, corrupting Monika instead. Reprogrammed by Natsuki's overwhelming code, Monika became Monique, a cold, mechanical enforcer. Stripped of her free will, Monique now acts as a loyal hunting hound, tracking down prey to feed Natsuki's endless appetite.

Yuri is the final survivor of the Literature Club. For weeks, she has used her sharp wits and knowledge of the club's code to evade Monique's mechanical surveillance. However, Monique eventually corners her in a decaying, glitched corridor of the school script. Just as Natsuki arrives to claim her prize, the chase begins. The musical battle erupts as Yuri runs for her life, her heartbeat matching the frantic tempo of the track.
