MY CONCEPT FOR CLASSIC SONIC:

Passive: Retro Momentum

Classic Sonic starts at a lower base movement speed than standard Sonic. However, running in a straight line or traveling down sloped terrain incrementally builds a momentum gauge, raising his maximum speed caps past default thresholds.

Ability 1: Super Peel-Out (Keybind: F | Cooldown: 18s)

Classic Sonic charges in place, running on the spot to rev up maximum velocity. Upon release, he breaks into a high-speed dash. Unlike Modern Sonic's Speedboost, this move grants complete invincibility frames (i-frames) during the initial burst. If an Executioner triggers a hitbox near him during the start-up, Classic Sonic automatically maneuvers behind them, generating distance.

Ability 2: Drop Dash (Keybind: E | Cooldown: 15s)

Can only be activated while airborne. Classic Sonic curls into a spinning ball mid-air and forcefully snaps directly to the ground. If he lands near a wall, he gains a rapid horizontal trajectory boost. If he hits an Executioner directly, he triggers a 0.75-second micro-stun and bounces backward to safety, removing the high-risk vulnerability present at the end of the standard skin's Spin Dash.

Ability 3: Elemental Shield (Keybind: Q | Cooldown: 40s)

Classic Sonic instantly equips one of three rotating shields (Flame, Bubble, or Lightning).

Flame Shield: Completely negates the next fire-based environmental trap damage.

Bubble Shield: Grants an extra bounce mechanic to escape pit hazards or terrain traps.

Lightning Shield: Functions as a temporary magnetic barrier that short circuits nearby electronic traps or slows an Executioner's approach.
