Should I change them? 21K on ODO

Hey people, This is Adventure 390 2024 ( old adv) and its almost 22k on my ODO, Stock tyres are metzeller tourance. they're soo goated, not even a single punchure, and excellent confidence everywhere.

I guess its time to change, 3 months ago when i was browsing, I saw both around 25k , but now they are 32k.. :( i want to buy them but cant spend much now. Suggest me some tyres to replace with it. no CEAT please. and how many more kms can I ride with these tyres?

For me as of now there is no problem with back tyre, but if I use front brake, handle starts to vibrate a bit. so why take risk...

Edit : there's a crack at back tyre's sidewall, is it serious?

Kick stand / Side Stand issues

Bought the 390 Adventure S 5 days ago, pre-delivery inspection went well too. Had no issues during that. From the third day onwards, I kept getting side stand down errors on the bike, couldn't start it, even when the stand was fully up. Created a workaround for it, I'd put up the stand gently like 5 times or more, only then would the warning go away. Sometimes after taking bumps it would pop up and the engine would cut off (almost crashed once because the wheel locked up).

Visited the service center yesterday, they said it was a common issue on the S and the R variant. They did some work, free of charge. It was gone only for a few hours literally. Any one else having this issue? How did you get it fixed? I'll visit the service center again this coming Monday.

Nav mounting - Rally or Handlebar?

Just got a KTM 390 ADV R for 90% forest road, double and singletrack...and hopefully no more than 10% pavement on two-lanes. I've been riding a two-sroke 300 for 10 years without any navigation, but I'd like to use Gaia or OnX with the 390 via car play with my Cardo.

I'm hesitant to mount a Carpuride or similar unit above the OEM screen since i'm assuming it blocks the view ahead. I wonder if it's in my face up high if I'll be tempted to look at it instead of what's ahead. Conversely, if I mount it on the handlebar, then I'm probably looking down instead of the trail.

I'm 5'11 and like to stand up the trail calls for it, so maybe mounting the nav screen up high rally-style won't block my view in technical sections. Hoping to avoid mounting the unit multiple times to sort this out.

Appreciate any insight!

Dealer increased price after my booking. What should I do?

I booked a new KTM 390 Adventure (349cc) around 20 days ago and paid the booking amount. Today, the dealer informed me that the ex-showroom price has increased and wants me to pay the revised amount.
Is this normal? Has anyone managed to get KTM or the dealer to honor the booking price after a price hike?
I also noticed Amazon has around ₹20k discount with the Amazon Pay ICICI Card, but I don’t have one.
What would you do in my situation? Any advice is appreciated.

Mileage and lag issue.

Hey guys, can someone tell me if 13 km/l is normal mileage for a 2023 KTM Adventure 390 X?

Also, has anyone experienced an initial pickup lag right after starting the bike? Mine feels a bit sluggish for the first few moments before it starts responding normally. Is this expected, or should I get it checked?

Finally pulled the trigger and booked my KTM Adventure 390!

Been waiting for this moment for a long time, and it’s finally happening. Super excited to join the KTM family. Can’t wait for the delivery, the first ride, weekend trips, and eventually some long-distance touring.

Already planning a few mods like a more comfortable seat, luggage setup, and crash protection.

Any must-do accessories or break-in tips from fellow ADV 390 owners? Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!

Looking for a 2026 KTM Adventure 390 owner

Hey I am looking for a KTM Adventure 390 owner for a duo ride to the Nandi hills any day. Actually I own a 2024 Scrambler 400x and I am planning to get the Adventure 350. I have taken test ride already and the handle bar seems much lower than my Scrambler. So a decent(60-70km) long ride would help me find the differences between the 2 bikes, we could swap bikes for the ride. I live in Yelahanka.

Where can I negotiate the price on a new KTM 390 Adventure S?

[OC] KTM 390 Adventure S and wanted to know where I can realistically negotiate the price.
The ex-showroom price is fixed, but what all can I ask the dealer to reduce?

Built something to fix group ride planning chaos — would love feedback from this sub

You know the drill, someone plans a ride to Dhanushkodi, drops 10 pins on Google Maps, types out the route in a long WhatsApp message by copying google map pin links, and then the group chat turns into chaos the moment someone suggests a detour or the weather changes. The signups are just repeating the same message over and over again, and don't even get started on figuring out what gear everyone's supposed to bring.

I got tired of this so I've been building Roadbook. You create a route and a gear list, attach them to a ride, and share it. There are two ways to share, send someone a copy of the plan so they have it to use, or share it as a group ride so it stays linked and everyone's on the same plan if things change. Anyone with the code can also just import a route or gear list to reuse for their own ride.

Once you're done planning, open the ride on your phone and go to riding mode and the whole thing works offline as a PWA, so no signal needed mid-ride. In "riding mode" you can tap navigate to jump straight into Google Maps for turn-by-turn, and mark each leg/day as done as you go.

Still building — next up is a community feed and the ability to add photos/videos from a ride and share straight to social media from the app.

Would love feedback from people who actually organize and do group or solo rides here. Tell me what's missing, what'd make this useful vs. just sticking with WhatsApp. Happy to share a link if folks are curious.

Mods - please let me know if this sort of post is not allowed.
