Spent the past weekend exploring SW Indiana. Covered bridges, gravel, dirt, mud, water crossings. Kept up with the big bikes (Desert X and R1250GSA) just fine.
What a great buy the Rhinowalks! Not even 200 euros and quite impressed by the quality of those panniers.
I can really feel the difference between before setup and this one 😅 that's a big deal!
I’m planning to change my 2022 model stock tires to Metzeler Karoo Street stock size at the front and 140/80 at the rear. What do you guys think of this? Has anyone tried this on their bikes? I ride mostly on road.
OP got the new bike. Please suggest most useful accessories from your experience.
Finally broke 1000km this past weekend. Super stoked as this is my first bike. Been so fun this far figured I’d share some photos from the ride that set me over
Did anybody have this before? Did the mechanic forget to update the computer? Or does it go away by itself?
Do check out my insta channel. It's in my bio would really appreciate it👍🏼👍🏼

I have been considering buying a new ADV for a while now. The best ones in my price range is the RE Himalayan 450 and KTM Adventure 390. I am on the fence on both of these motorcycles. They’re both segment leaders and cater to different riders.
My stats:
- I currently own a domaine 400 so riding bigger bikes aren’t new to me
- I’m 5’3.
- I go on a lot of motorcycle rides. I’ve completed all of South India on my Dominar 400. I am positive that no matter what I end up buying, I’ll tour on it for sure.
My thoughts:
- I’m a believer of having skills to ride. A taller rider with no skills can still drop the bike and have accidents. That doesn’t discount the fact that the H450 is a big bike and would be difficult to manage in traffic and technical off-road situations.
- My partner will be joining me on long rides. Maybe 1 in 3 of the rides. I’ve ridden both bikes and can confidently accept that the 390 is a no-go for pillions. This automatically eliminates the motorcycle from my list, but:
- One of the main points I have in mind looking for the next bike is that I want something agile and quick, like the 390. I have ridden the h450 and it’s not as quick and agile as the 390, for obvious reasons.
- No matter which motorcycle I buy, I intend on practicing my off-road skills on it and I know for sure that the H450 will have a pretty steep learning curve just because of the weight itself. I tried the 390 and it felt like home. Perfect riding triangle and the light weight makes for a very flickable and manageable motorcycle.
The reason I’m posting here is - I want to know how the other Adventure 390 owners feel about their motorcycle. Are you bothered by the vibrations? Do you not like the fact that this motorcycle just cannot accommodate a pillion for long rides?
I’m very confused. The only reason I might buy the h450 is for its pillion comfort.
Hi all, just got my 2025 390 Adventure X in Canada and I find it very difficult to find mod sources here (Vancouver, BC area). I notice that this bike seems to be very popular in India with big following and great sources for parts.
I've been looking mainly for crash bars, luggage racks and panniers, bar risers and GPS electronics. The selection is almost nonexistent and if I find something that looks decent, it seems that they never heard of this bike model.
Anyone in North America (I can get stuff in the US if necessary) knows where to get good tested, confirmed parts for this bike?
Also, is there a specifically NA community for this bike? Absolutely nothing against India, but it's just for finding parts locally.
Thanks.
Little cross over seasonal road action first thing in the morning on my way to work.
I rode my buddy's 2025 390 Adventure R and when I was standing up I felt a little stooped over. I'm considering getting the same bike and I think I read that if you add bar risers - there isn't enough additional length in some of the cables so you have to add some extension kit in order to bring them up higher. Is that the case?
