Case hits - yes, I got 3
Title pretty much. Ripped my case today and got 3 serials. They’re all for sale. I had my binder out ready to master the set and then I realized that there were NO unserialized versions of the serialized cards. It was exactly like Jin 3. So, I’ll be listing literally everything for sale and probably just use the money to finish mastering my Jin 2 and earlier.
I really wish Kayou just did alt versions for the serials so you still had something to collect. My vaultx binder is hungry, and this set ain’t it.
Might keep the Jiraiya though, card is fire.

Can't believe I pulled this from my first box!
Grabbed a few packs from Target a couple of weeks ago, and thought the art was super cool! The next day, I ordered a box from Best Buy, but it wasn't delivered despite saying it was (delivery driver took it?) I got a new one delivered, and this was in the first pack! Also, it's 68/99. So close to 69 lolllll. Now it is going to Beckett this Friday!

Hey everyone!
Ninja Age has been out for a while now, and a lot of collectors have already pulled their chases. A friend of mine actually pulled the 1/99 Sasuke, which made me insanely jealous! What’s wilder is that he got it from a free case he won from a giveaway... but he said it wasn't even his ultimate chase and was only "can accept" for him. 😅
Here is a quick breakdown of the **Ninja Age configuration(**all cards are thick cards):
- Pack: 5 cards per pack
- Box: 16 packs + 1 PR card per box (12 boxes / case)
- 10 Rarity Tiers: SSR - UR - PTR - SP - MR - ◇MR - QR - ◇QR - XR - ◇XR
- 106 Card Types + 4 PR Types
- Serials (5 rarities): ◇MR /999 | QR /720 | ◇QR /72 | XR /720 | ◇XR /99 & /9
SSR (Super Spark Rare) - 20 types
The lowest rarity in Ninja Age. The overall design isn't drastically different from SSRs in other series, but what raises the score for me is that most of them feature 2-character battle scenes with dynamic poses and combo artwork (e.g., Jiraiya vs. Orochimaru, Sasuke vs. Itachi, Naruto vs. Pain—all calling back to iconic anime fights).
- My Rating: 3/5 (Met expectations)
UR (Ultra Rare) - 22 types
Most URs in this set use artwork from the Shippuden era. Naruto and Sasuke get their own dedicated background colors, and the characters are pictured in action while casting jutsu. The sense of motion is much better than typical static character art, but overall, it still feels a bit too simple and plain compared to the higher rarities
- My Rating: 2.5/5 (Just okay)
PTR (Platinum Rare) - 20 types
PTRs previously appeared in Heaven's Scroll (S1). I expressed my love for them back then, and I still love this movie-poster style artwork—it brings out a truly epic vibe! A full set framed or displayed in acrylic would look stunning. On top of that, the biggest issue people had with older PTRs (cards warping easily) was completely fixed thanks to Ninja Age's thick stock. Super happy about this!
- My Rating: 3/5 (Met expectations)
SP (Special) - 11 types
The SPs in this set look very different from other series. They resemble a game UI, with almost the entire card featuring a full holo-foil finish. The artwork showing the Team 7 members interacting with their adult/younger selves is super interesting and really makes you reflect on their growth over time. Great job on both design and concept!
- My Rating: 3.5/5
MR (Miracle Rare) - 8 types
This time, MRs don't have a specific theme like zodiac signs or tarot cards—it's just single characters with jutsu effects, full foil, and gold foil signatures. All characters are from the Akatsuki (and yes, Sasuke was technically in the Akatsuki too...). The exaggerated effects and strong visual contrast make the MR cards really pop. Out of all the unnumbered cards, MR is easily my favorite (especially both Itachi cards!).
- My Rating: 4/5 (Exceeded expectations)
◇MR (Miracle Rare Shining) - 2 types /999
As I mentioned in a previous post, these two cards feature the Male and Female groups from Naruto & Hinata's wedding. It's a super memorable scene selection with background fireworks creating a joyful, celebratory atmosphere. I really love this relaxed vibe! (Some degens in my chat group said they preferred the female group... but as a huge Sasuke fan, Sasuke having his back turned to the camera in the male group is actually a really subtle emotional expression. I'm sure fellow Sasuke fans know what I mean! Though having his back turned does make him a bit less noticeable.)
My Rating: 4/5 (Exceeded expectations)
QR (Cute Rare) - 9 types /720
To be honest, Chibi style artwork is definitely hit-or-miss depending on personal taste. Looking at actual pulls, while the QR cards use real embroidery craft, the card stock is so thick that it's an absolute nightmare to fit into standard sleeves... which is pretty awkward. Also, looking at the full art checklist, some characters just don't translate well into Chibi form (like Tsunade and Sasuke).
- My Rating: 3.5/5 (Creative idea, but with obvious flaws)
◇QR (Cute Rare Shining) - 1 type /72
Aside from the gold background, I honestly don't notice anything special about it. Has anyone here actually pulled one? Could you let me know if there are any differences other than the numbering? Also, could this be a sign that future sets might release unnumbered or differently-numbered versions of the same art to make collecting easier?

XR (Extreme Rare) - 6 types /720
One of the top rarities in Ninja Age. It uses commemorative ink line art from the Naruto 10th Anniversary period with custom backgrounds, creating a distinctive Ukiyo-e-inspired design. The artwork looks fantastic and the Ukiyo-e aesthetic feels super high-end!
- My Rating: 4/5 (Exceeded expectations)
◇XR (Extreme Rare Shining) - 7 types /99 & /9
Compared to the /720 XR, the card art breaks through the black border with richer, frameless decorations. The Ukiyo-e style blends seamlessly with the metallic plant textures and scene accents. The /9 version features Naruto and Sasuke facing each other against a Ukiyo-e backdrop, clearly referencing the two iconic statues at the Valley of the End and symbolizing their complex bond and shared history.
- My Rating: Overall 5/5, but given how ridiculously low the pull rate is, I'm giving it a 4/5.
PR (Promo) - 4 types
The PR cards are fairly unremarkable—I'd argue they have even less character than the JIN3 promos. I know some people disliked JIN3 promos, but in my opinion, the artwork/faces on this batch look even more off... There are 4 types in total, but it's technically just 2 artworks with 2 different border designs. The so-called ◇PR border and name tag just use the Ninja Age color scheme, with no other differences. I personally guess that ◇PR might have originally had a different design... just a theory though.
- My Rating: 2/5 (Disappointed)
Overall, Kayou's total production volume for Ninja Age doesn't feel huge. Cutting out the lowest bulk rarities made the overall unboxing experience pretty enjoyable, and hitting numbered serial cards feels reasonably accessible. Based on actual case break results, getting 1 serial card per case seems to be the baseline. (Though of course, we've all seen those lucky folks who pulled 2 serial cards from just 5 boxes...)

Serial pulls from ninja age!
Bought a case and won a case from a giveaway in this KAYOU Naruto server I’m a part of and these were my pulls! I wasn’t planning on getting rid of it really until I started receiving offers for it and now I’m seriously thinking about selling it because that would help a lot for me and my girl’s future and that would be the only reason I would sell it in the first place. With that being said, I’m open to offers on it as of now!

Which card pairs with this one?
I have this one and like it a lot and I've noticed that a lot of these SSRs match with another card and make a bigger picture. But I'm struggling to identify what it is for this one unless it doesn't have one. I'm still pretty new to these cards but I love Naruto.

Earth Scrolls Hit Rate
I was curious if anyone knows what the hit rate is between ARs,CRs , SP and MR are for this set. Seeing old posts saying about 2 hits per box but not guaranteed and the one I’ve bought had zero which is fine. It didn’t mention if SPs are easier to hit than ARs.
I was wondering if I should buy more or just buy the singles. I’m chasing after the adult Naruto/ Sasuke ARs.
