I’m building an MMA sandbox with 209 active promotions worldwide, custom organizations, and an agent mode
I develop and sell Football Fictional World Simulator, and I’m now working on its MMA counterpart: MMA Fictional World SImulator.
The main idea is a whole MMA world you can watch evolve. 209 promotions around the globe operate simultaneously, from small local organizations to major international names. They run events, sign fighters, crown champions, and compete for talent while careers develop across the world.
You can follow one promotion closely, track a promising fighter through several organizations, or simply let time pass and see how the MMA landscape changes. A small promotion producing a future star, an unexpected champion, or a fighter rebuilding their career somewhere else—those are the stories I want the simulation to create.
You can also add your own promotions, choosing their country, size and weight divisions. You’re free to expand the world and see where your organizations fit into it.
Fast simulation is a major priority. I want exploring a large world and following generations of fighters to be a central part of the experience.
There’s also an agent mode if you want a personal stake in that world. You can sign clients, respond to promotion and fight offers, manage your agency’s money, and follow your fighters as they move between organizations. The world keeps running around you, while your clients give you particular careers to care about.
For anyone who enjoys the world-building and career stories in WMMA, that’s the experience I’m aiming for: a large, customizable MMA sandbox, with the option to become part of it as an agent.
The current interface is in Japanese, and the game is still in development. I’d love to hear what other MMA sim fans think.
Would you spend more time managing fighters, building custom promotions, or simply watching the world unfold?
