I misunderstood the deadlines and thought sept. 14 was the deadline for fees and only now found out that for new students it was august 17. When I try to go to Pay Fees though in the drop down it only shows Summer 2026 CREDIT, Fall or Winter 2026 doesn't show up. I checked My Course Schedule though on MyMRU and it shows that I'm still registered in my classes, but I'm not sure if they're all going to get dropped.

Do I just pay my tuition through my online banking app instead since the drop down doesn't have my semester on the website? And will I be dropped from my classes/do I need to pay the re-registration fee since I missed the deadline? I'm figuring things out on my own and have been busy so it's completely my fault for missing the deadline, just a little confused and would appreciate any help I can get abt paying for my courses and tuition!

Is anyone else’s application stuck on “under review”? The deadline for fees has already passed, and I still need to apply for loans, so I have no clue what I should do.

I paid $9,000 in tuition through online banking using the same MRU payee I’ve always used. The payment went through on my bank’s end, but I just noticed that I’ve been deregistered from my courses and cannot find fall 2026 or winter 2027 schedule.

I’m freaking out because I have proof of the payment, but I’m worried I’m going to lose my spots in my classes. 😭

Has anyone else had this happen where their tuition payment was still processing and MRU kicked them out of their courses? If so, were you able to get reinstated once the payment went through?

Any advice/experiences would be really appreciated!!

One of my friends applied to MRU for biology back in March and she still hasn’t heard anything back from the school. Does anyone know if MRU are still accepting applications?

Is the fee payment deadline for new students August 17th and the deadline for continuing students is September 14th? Or can new students still make changes to classes after August 17th. And why cant I see Fall 20206 or Winter 2027

Any returning MRU students going into 2nd year of the same program? (js wanna make sure my fees are actually due on Sept14 lol)

I called MRU yesterday, and they confirmed my Fall 2026 fees are due on September 14. However, when I go to Pay Now in MyMRU, the Fall 2026/Winter 2027 terms don't appear under Select a Term, so I can't pay yet.

Is anyone else in the same situation?

Just wondering if this is happening to anyone else but if you go the registration landing page and go to the add/drop/withdraw classes, its only showing Summer 2026, not any fall or winter window?

I'm taking GNED 1202 with Glen Ryland, the final is in two days. I don't even know how to prepare for this final.

We have 4 books we need to have a good grasp on, not including the articles, documentaries, interviews etc... he wants us to be able to make connections between the books and all the other course material, but there is SO much stuff that it feels impossible to actually remember everything.

I am super worried this class is going to hit my GPA hard. I did well on the first midterm but absolutely flunked the second one because the book (Grendel) was a disgusting read. Participation is worth 20% but we don't have that grade yet...

If anyone took or is taking this class with Glen how are you guys preparing for the Final? Any advice is appreciated!

i’m going to mru in the fall for academic upgrading, i got accepted but i haven’t payed my tuition deposit yet because im still a bit skeptical as to what the program is like, and what u go through while upgrading. Do u have to reapply next term for an actual major, or do you automatically get a spot?

So I was looking at the MRU website preparing for parking permits to go on sale at 10am tomorrow, and when I opened HotSpot to check out the permit options, I was actually able to already fully purchase a Fall + Winter permit. I don't know if that's a website thing, a MRU mistake or what, but considering it's first come first serve, I would NOT wait until 10am if you have the option to do it right now like me!

Free parking at MRU?
Hey everyone, does anyone know if there are any free or cheap parking options near Mount Royal University?

I’ll be commuting to campus and parking fees can add up pretty quickly. I’m mainly looking for somewhere I can park during the daytime without risking a ticket.

Hi all! I’m currently picking my first-year courses after being accepted pretty late, and I’m having some trouble understanding exactly which classes I should enroll in.

From the MRU webpage I found, it looks like I need to take these courses:

• EDUC 1231 – Professional Dimensions I
• ENGL 1152 – Identity and Invention: An Introduction to Literature
• NTSC 1112 – An Introduction to Current Environmental Issues
• PHIL 1101 – Philosophy: Knowledge and Existence
• RELS 1105 – Why Religion Matters
• LING 1111 – The Nature of Language I
• MATH 1102 – Introduction to Geometry

I’m a little confused about how a minor fits into the schedule. Do I start taking courses for my minor in first year, or do I mainly focus on these required courses first?

If anyone is in the B.Ed. program, I’d really appreciate hearing what courses you took in your first year and how you organized your Fall/Winter schedule. Any advice would help a lot, especially since I’m registering pretty late. Thanks!

I just want to confirm the start date for classes I know it says September 3rd but I don't have class on that day so does that mean I don't start unil September 9th when I have classes schedulded. since May 7th is a long weekend

I've seen a post abt this but I couldn't find it. I'm a bit confused about the Fall 2026 fee deadlines.

I'm going into my 2nd year of the BBA (Declared my major this yr), staying in the same program, and I'll be receiving student financial aid.

Does my tuition deadline fall on Sept. 14, or is it Aug. 17? Has anyone in the same situation confirmed which deadline applies? I'm planning to call them tmrw

I’ve been at this for awhile and to fees are literally due TOMORROW, the only sign of live i’ve seen was them pulling my transcript from MYPASS bak in june/july but that’s it. should i give up hope?

Has anyone else not been able to pay tuition through mymru? I’ve been unable to pay through the website all week. It’s due tomorrow and im scared my classes will be deregistered for fall 2026.
