Baby Jack Rabbit in Parkade

Saw a baby Jack rabbit bunny in the parkade around 11:05AM.

It ran under a car so I tried to shoo it away to a safer spot and it ran off under another car.

For anyone reading this, pls check under your car before backing out.

[CANADA] - CIBC Extremely Convincing Scam

I have studied AI for a long time and I am very well versed in all things tech-related, but I'll be honest this one almost got me.

A number called me (a number very similar to CIBC's real number) and they were almost caller ID Spoofing titled "CIBC".

I picked up and they knew my first and last name and details about events in my banking history I thought only CIBC would know. I 100% believed it at the start.

They started to try to lead me to a link called CIBCAlerts, and that's when I stopped, hung up, and called the real CIBC, and they confirmed it was a scam.

Be careful out there, I can't imagine how many older people have fallen for this if I almost did. This was by far the most convincing scam call I've ever received.

CIBC Extremely Convincing Scam

I have studied AI for a long time and I am very well versed in all things tech-related, but I'll be honest this one almost got me.

A number called me (a number very similar to CIBC's real number) and they were almost caller ID Spoofing titled "CIBC".

I picked up and they knew my first and last name and details about events in my banking history I thought only CIBC would know. I 100% believed it at the start.

But then the caller began telling me to "Not use Chrome and search a link called CibcAlerts dot com, and that's when I paused.

I told the caller that I'm getting suspicious and that I will call back using the number on the back of my card, then the caller instantly hung up on me.

This scam was extremely convincing and I'm very lucky I didn't expose any information.

I've gotten scam calls and phishing emails/calls all my life, and nothing even comes close to how convincing this was.

Please be extremely careful and if you get a call from "CIBC", either take a quick second to verify it's the real number or just hang up and call the real number on the back of your card.

Be careful everyone, I can't imagine how many older people have fallen for this.
