18 months in, I love my hair!
I lived for 35 years with 1 inch long hair (due to family rules and pressure), I've been loving the journey so far, maybe except the first 6-9 months.
I still have no clue on how long will I end up wanting it, hopefully I'll live another 35 years with long hair!
Are my dreads mane enough? Lol
Sorry for bad pic not good at taking pics and title is supposed to be funny and corny to lol.
Recent flow pic
I may be old and craggy as shit these days but things could be worse!
At about a 1.5-2 years of growth, just the occasional clean up trim.
What would you call this bun, no idea. It changes weekly.
I don’t think I’ll ever go back short.
I dont have time to clean my mirror, my hair is my priority 😊
My little pony tail
I have been growing since last 11 months and now I am Rock a pony tail sometimes
Missing my long hair
Cut it all off last year, on the long road to growing it back. Need encouragement to keep going
I miss my mane sometimes (I cut it off back in February)
I cut it because I was told I looked more conventionally attractive with shorter hair + I could never get the volume I wanted and manage frizz (I still have people debate whether my hair is straight or wavy).
Ironically I hated the haircut I got in February and haven't had it cut since (going to soon though).
Loc'd up Mane
I wish the curly look lasted longer tho.
Can’t wait to grow my hair out again! I miss my mane.
I need some help.
I'm just going into high school and I want my hair to look good and not greasy looking so if anyone could give me some hair care recommendations that would be amazing. It could be anything. Routines. Brands. Etc
