18 1/2 years old....today she left me.

Edit: Thank you so much for all your kind words here. It is so much appreciated! 🫶😻

R.I.P. Eve meine geliebte Katze, ich werde dich vermissen!

Better late than never…

Not sure if and when i reach my victory but my journey began about 4 years ago when someone said i should let my hair grow. Ok, 4 years later (but there were 2 bigger cuts and some small in this time) i have the longest hair i had in my life. Now at 47 years old i like it and want it now much longer.
Not sure if i am qualified enough here yet but my goal is to get it close to my hips until i reach my 50s.

Good day for another SloMo ;)

Today was a good day for a full BaliCurls Routine (so far my favorite product line for a curly look). It was 1. Shampoo (2 times), 2. Conditioner, 3. Curl Cream, 4. Hair Mousse, 5. Curl Defining Gel......6. 20 minutes diffusing.....some more to air dry the rest.....7. scrunch out the gel cast with some drop hair oil (Olaplex No.7 in this case but i also prefer the one from Bali Curls to go along the other products normally).

It is not perfect since it look ok but the back is not right and the top is a bit flat. But it always ruin it when i am ready and try to put my hair all back. I do the routine head over and it is anyway taxing on my damaged spine/neck. A pro hairstylist told me to do it to the sides and trow my head and hear from one side to another several times until it ready...but my neck cannot handle this movements. It hurts more than going on a rollercoaster, lol. However, i am quite happy for today ;)

Wild but i like it….

Routine here: Washing with Stortebekker solid hair soap, conditioner from D.M. (Discounter), curl booster gel from Cocounat. Air Dry, scrunch out with a bit hair oil (Olaplex no.7).

18 years old somali lady...

....still doing fine but age is coming in and she slowed down a lot. I hope we have some more years to go together. Never had such a great cat or any animal.

Tried the no product route....

Just shampoo and conditioner.....air drying. A bit dry and wild but i get a bit tired of all the curly girl method products and time and energy it needs. Sometimes i like the simple things more. And it shows my natural more wild curls/waves.

Tried something different…

Routine: I just washed my hair with a solid hair soap from Stoertebekker, then moisturizing conditoner from Bali Curls and then just used some medium oil based pomade from Stoertebekker and scrunched it in my wet hair and let it air dry.
It is maybe a bit too greasy and heavy since the top is a bit flat. It could be just too much pomade.

I think this routine went really well.

Routine: 1. Shampoo (2 times) Shampoo Bar from Curly Secrets, 2. Conditioner, Strong Curls Rosemary Conditioner from Umberto Giannini, 3. Leave-In, Weightless Air Dry Cream from Curlsmith, 4. Hair Mousse, Boost Mousse from Umberto Giannini, 5. Gel, Curl Booster Curl Defining Gel from Cocunat, 6. Diffusing for about 20 minutes (head over), 7. Scrunch out the cast with some drops of Hair Oil from Olaplex No.7.

I think it this curly girl thing went really well for a 47 years old man ;)

P.S.: I deleted my old account (went out of control a bit) and made a new one. I will only post once per months here and i hope it is ok. Have a nice day!
