...and still a long way to go to my goal (at least hip length). I am a close to 48 years old male and started 4 years ago so it is never too late. And sorry for the bad perspectives here photo 1-2 was after my latest really big hair cut in August 2022 until i let them grow longer and longer (but there were still some cuts between i wished now i did not since it costs me at least a year of growth). And even more sorry for the creepy moustache, i also wanted to test it once in my life but i guess it was a bad idea. I guess i still have another 3-4 years to go?

...flat on top, fluffy at the ends. I really hate to have to wear bandanas and helmet at work. It f....my hair up. But cutting is no option of course :)

I have no kids, my soul cat died after beeing with me over 18 years, i struggle with chronic pain due to spine/connective tissue issues and i think i have an alcohol problem and maybe a midlife crisis on top. I do not like my job but cannot change something. I mean i am still alive and look ok for my age but i feel old and dead inside. Well, i still try and would like to change things up once and again, doing daily sports again like in the past, stop alcohol, better diet, try to be more happy but not sure for what. Maybe i start tomorrow….

3 variants of one of my favorite style, half/up down. 1. With a silk scrunchie and bun, 2. With a leather and wood hair clip, 3. With an octopus hair clip.

Routine: Shampoo: Stoertebekker, Conditoner: Kerastase Curl Manifesto, Curl Cream: Bali Curls, Flaxeed Gel: Bali Curls, Bonding Hair Oil: Bali Curls.
Flaxeed Gel is so far my favorite for nice defined and long holding curls. I hope to get my hair much longer.

Missing my soul cat which died 2 weeks ago. Maybe she looks down to me and i look up to her. She liked when i grew out my hair and played often with it. I miss it.

Ich habe meine geliebte Seelenkatze nach über 18 Jahren gemeinsamer Zeit verloren und versuche mich abzulenken. Es fällt mir schwer noch irgendeine Freude zu empfinden. Sie mochte es das ich mir die Haare die letzten Jahre lang wachsen ließ. Ich werde sie ihr zu ehren jetzt erst recht so lang wachsen lassen wie es nur geht. Kein Styling hier, nur Shampoo und Conditioner. Ich habe zur Zeit keine Energie um meine Locken besser zu pflegen.

Ich habe vor nur 10 Tagen gepostet, dass es meiner Lady noch gut geht, aber vor ein paar Tagen hat sie angefangen, jegliches Essen und sogar Wasser zu meiden. Ich bin zum Arzt gegangen und er sagt, dass sie für 18 Jahre erstaunlich aussieht... alle Zähne, gute Augen usw. Das hier ist eines meiner letzten Videos mit ihr, nur ein paar Wochen her.

Aber ich schätze, es war Zeit für sie, über die Regenbogenbrücke zu gehen. Letzte Nacht kam sie zu mir und ich sah, dass sie keine Energie mehr hatte. Ich wollte heute Morgen zum Arzt und habe aufgehört zu arbeiten, bin nach Hause gekommen und habe alles gepackt, bin zu ihr gegangen und sie hat auf mich gewartet, lag da mit offenen Augen. Sie hat mir ihren Kopf mit all der Energie gegeben, die sie noch hatte, eine leise Stimme von ihr und sehr leises Schnurren, ich habe angefangen, sie zu streicheln und sie hat tief geatmet, nach ein paar Minuten hat sie die Augen geschlossen und mich dort mit gebrochenem Herzen verlassen.

Ich vermisse sie jetzt schon so sehr und danke ihr so sehr, dass sie mir bis zum Ende all ihre Liebe geschenkt hat. R.I.P. Eve meine geliebte Katze, ich werde dich vermissen!

Not sure if and when i reach my victory but my journey began about 4 years ago when someone said i should let my hair grow. Ok, 4 years later (but there were 2 bigger cuts and some small in this time) i have the longest hair i had in my life. Now at 47 years old i like it and want it now much longer.
Not sure if i am qualified enough here yet but my goal is to get it close to my hips until i reach my 50s.

Today was a good day for a full BaliCurls Routine (so far my favorite product line for a curly look). It was 1. Shampoo (2 times), 2. Conditioner, 3. Curl Cream, 4. Hair Mousse, 5. Curl Defining Gel......6. 20 minutes diffusing.....some more to air dry the rest.....7. scrunch out the gel cast with some drop hair oil (Olaplex No.7 in this case but i also prefer the one from Bali Curls to go along the other products normally).

It is not perfect since it look ok but the back is not right and the top is a bit flat. But it always ruin it when i am ready and try to put my hair all back. I do the routine head over and it is anyway taxing on my damaged spine/neck. A pro hairstylist told me to do it to the sides and trow my head and hear from one side to another several times until it ready...but my neck cannot handle this movements. It hurts more than going on a rollercoaster, lol. However, i am quite happy for today ;)

Routine here: Washing with Stortebekker solid hair soap, conditioner from D.M. (Discounter), curl booster gel from Cocounat. Air Dry, scrunch out with a bit hair oil (Olaplex no.7).

....still doing fine but age is coming in and she slowed down a lot. I hope we have some more years to go together. Never had such a great cat or any animal.

Just shampoo and conditioner.....air drying. A bit dry and wild but i get a bit tired of all the curly girl method products and time and energy it needs. Sometimes i like the simple things more. And it shows my natural more wild curls/waves.

Routine: I just washed my hair with a solid hair soap from Stoertebekker, then moisturizing conditoner from Bali Curls and then just used some medium oil based pomade from Stoertebekker and scrunched it in my wet hair and let it air dry.
It is maybe a bit too greasy and heavy since the top is a bit flat. It could be just too much pomade.
