Made some Ayahuasca art with Mantis Spirits. Curious about your Mantis experiences and Meicine. Artwork: ✨️'Celestial Kin▪︎G▪︎ship' 🌿🫅

So a little background info.
Ayahuasca has become a big part in life and I regularly sit in ceremony.
I also have done a dieta with the shipibo and that has been really good for me.

Obivously during my time in the jungle I encountered a lot of bug-like spirits in ceremony.
One point I saw them cleaning my system. It's as if this medicine takes on various forms are opens up doorways for higher beings to come through.

About a month ago, I had another really beautiful ceremony, and during it, I really felt a strong presence of Mantis beings. Just being there in the field. Alien, abstract, and very straightforward at times. The medicine can be quite strict, but I've been forming a loving relationship with it, and every time, there is more and more trust. Going beyond fear, control, and just presence. Sinking deeper into it. I never have that many visuals which is weird since I do create visionary art. It's always more of a feeling and very vague but I do feel other beings coming in and around. I look at the mantis as something that is deeply part of nature and has a very high level of consciousness and can aid and help to heal.
It can also feel neutral or distant, but still there is love.

Anyway, during that experience, I also felt myself being lifted onto this throne. A lot of healing about the inner child and just being humbled.

I hope this work resonates wih you and I'm curious what you feel and if you have any experience with medicine and mantis beings.

Was at Sego Canyon this morning anyone else seeing a mantis here?

Hey guys. Driving home from Moab this morning and on a whim decided to find the nearest petroglyph site. Ended up at Sego Canyon in Utah. It has Barrier Canyon Style pictographs that are anywhere from 2,000 to 6,000+ years old.

Walked in and had the whole canyon to myself. Was taking video of one of the panels, and was surprised to see a Mantis??

Figured this crowd would appreciate it.

Mantis and Grey Entity Encounter

I'm curious on the latter part of my experience if anyone has experienced this entity.

It started when I took 6.5g of Blue Teacher mushrooms. The come-up was extremely intense. Almost immediately, I started seeing overwhelming patterns and geometric shapes layered over everything around me. The body sensation was incredibly strong too. so strong that I found myself squirming on the ground as the experience took over.

At one point, it felt like the empty space around me wasn’t actually empty. The air itself seemed to be made up of interconnected octagonal shapes, all linked together in a living three-dimensional structure. When I moved my body through the space, the geometry reacted to it, almost like I was passing through some invisible energetic fabric. The shapes weren’t static, they felt alive.

Before the entity encounters began, I had another overwhelming realization: all material matter appeared to be made from a single continuous line. Everything around me; my desk, the walls, my hands, seemed to be formed from this endless flowing thread that folded into different shapes to create physical reality. I couldn’t tell where the line began or ended. It felt like all matter was part of one connected structure.

Eventually, I encountered what I can only describe as a mantis-like entity. Reaching this moment felt significant, almost like I had finally made it through the difficult part of the trip and had “earned” entry into another space or room.

The mantis entity didn’t speak or move much. It simply stared at me for what felt like a long time. Strangely, the experience wasn’t threatening at all. Its presence felt calm, observant, and almost parental, like a parent admiring their child. Even though it never verbally communicated, I somehow understood its intent emotionally. I vaguely remember it wearing some kind of dark grey or black robe or garb, though the details are blurry now. Eventually, it faded as my attention shifted elsewhere.

After that, I entered what felt like another room entirely, but this one felt cozy, familiar, and strangely comforting. There I encountered another entity that felt completely different from the mantis. This being felt like someone I had known forever, like an old friend.

It had a bulbous head, grey skin, large black eyes, and no visible mouth. It resembled the stereotypical “grey alien,” but emotionally it didn’t feel alien at all. It felt warm, playful, and deeply familiar. It was wearing a hoodie with no pants, which somehow made the whole experience feel even more absurd and personal.

The entity joked around with me, busted my balls, and made me feel incredibly comfortable and understood. At one point, I asked its name, and immediately the answer came back:

“Danny.”

Over time, Danny showed me visuals and ideas that felt deeply meaningful in the moment, though most of them became impossible to remember or explain afterward. My friend was nearby and sober, but I couldn’t properly communicate what I was experiencing because it felt beyond language.

The clearest message Danny gave me was simple:

“Stop trying to figure it out and just experience life.”

I know the Mantis encounter is actually pretty common, but has anyone else encountered a being that it felt like they knew you and were possibly an extension *of* you?

Hi All,

I'm leading a study investigating people's encounters with mantis entities in altered states of consciousness. This is a research collaboration with Prof. David Luke (University of Greenwich) and Samantha Treasure (an OBE book author, anthropologist and independent researcher). We have not received any funding support to undertake the study, and are working on it in our own free time, motivated purely by our shared interest in the subject. This is not a data mining exercise, and is purely for research purposes, pertaining solely to this particular topic.

All and any survey feedback is very much appreciated, as is sharing the survey with others you feel might be interested in it.

Study Background

This mantis encounter phenomenon has never been researched in depth before, prompting me to craft this survey seeking to shed some light on it. This study seeks to find out more about a general overview of your mantis entity encounter experiences, an overview of your single most vivid mantis entity encounter experience, experiential features of this encounter experience, and its interpretation and impact. The study has been reviewed and given ethical approval through the University of Greenwich Research Ethics Board.

Completing the survey should take around 20 minutes, depending on the level of feedback provided in the open text response segments of the survey (and it is totally up to the individual in question how much feedback they wish to provide in these parts of the survey). Further information about the study can be found in the Participant Information Sheet, accessible via clicking the link to the survey below.

Is this survey anonymous?

The survey is completely anonymous, unless you agree to be contacted for future research, or wish to be entered into the Amazon gift voucher raffle as a thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. This is totally optional, and in both of these cases, you will be prompted to enter an email address, but these will be only be visible to the three study investigators and will not be visible to, or shared with anybody else.

What will happen to the results of the research study?

We hope to publish the results of this study in a scientific journal in time (and I will prioritise open access publication to ensure the results are in the public domain) and I will share the research once it is published. We may also present the results at scientific conferences or seminars. The results of the survey may also inform the writing of a book on the mantis entity encounter phenomenon.

You are invited to participate in this survey if you fulfil all of the criteria listed below:

1). You are at least 18 years old.

2). You read, write, and speak English fluently.

3). You have had an encounter with a mantis entity.
