Is anyone else getting very frequent communication errors? It has never happened in the past and all of the sudden it’s every time I play. Have lost hundreds of points on ranked because of it.

What do you think of the Talking Flower commentator in Fever?

This guy is the replacement for the Toad commentator from Aces, only now fully voiced and by Patrick Seitz. I thought the Talking Flowers in Mario Wonder worked fine in that game because 1) they’re in small doses and 2) they’re defenseless and get put into danger a lot, thus making their suffering funny. However in my opinion, Mario Tennis Fever completely misunderstands why the Talking Flowers worked in the first place. They never shut up, commenting on basically every hit. I turned them off as soon as I could, but I still had to listen to them during Adventure mode and Tournament mode.

Is there a recent tier list?

For Fever, specifically

I am trying out all the characters to see which playstyle I like the most but it would be helpful to know which characters and stats seem to be better than others for matchup info, etc.

Serving with Koopa Paratroopa

I played with Rosalina for a long time and felt like I had a good handle on serving, which would earn me quite a few easy points. But I found against top players, I really struggled to move the ball around the court to win points.

Since then, I’ve moved over to Koopa Paratroopa and in general play I’m doing good, but serving feels like an absolute battle.

Any pointers for how you approach serving when not using a heavy hitter would be appreciated!

I get steamrolled online each match. Not sure if I’m being smurfed or what but it’s ridiculous. Not to mention the wait times. Is it seriously on life support already?

TruDat Strats

Does anyone know how this guy gets his little flat shots that fly from corner to corner of the map? When I give a charged flat shot it's not nearly as pointed as his, and they're hard to avoid. Is paratroopa particularly good at these?
