Miku Expo London

Miku Expo London

I can't lie, I had massive FOMO seeing all of the North America tour but now I am so so so excited for London in November!

I have no idea what I'm going to cosplay yet, but I'm so looking forward to it. I'm going to make some stickers to hand out and really go out of my way to make sure I have a good time.

I've been wanting to go to a Miku concert for a little over 10 years now and it's finally my time. I just hope the merch doesn't get messed up for the first few shows... that's my only concern

Goodbye Miku Expo 2026 North America 👋

And so, Miku's latest North American tour has come to an end. As my very first Miku concert ever, I have to say this was an experience I would love to do again. Everyone coming together to see someone we all know and love always feels like a once in a lifetime thing. To me, people joining together for one common interest and passion is always something amazing. It's something that makes me realize that if we all set aside our differences, maybe the world can become a better place to be in.

Shout out to that one girl who gave me a freebie pin while we were waiting in line to get inside the venue.

And shout out to the person who gave me a piece of confetti after the show

Goodbye Miku Expo. Thank you so much for an amazing tour this year. And thank you for a new memory I will never forget.

Since today is the last day for Miku Expo NA… 🍬🎀🍭🌈

I wanted to share my experience and thoughts for this years Miku Expo. I am so thankful that my boyfriend convinced me to get tickets this year even though the nearest show for me was out of state. I wouldn’t have traded the trip I took to Georgia for anything in the whole world! 🩷

I went with my best friend, and my boyfriend. It was my second concert and both of their firsts. We made a whole road trip all the way to Georgia and stayed in Duluth at an Airbnb for a few days. This year really blew me away. My first experience being 2024, 2026 was a MAJOR upgrade! I really think Crypton has redeemed themselves in my eyes with the new stage setup, it was so much more immersive this year! The setlist was crazy too! 2024 was great but this years was PHENOMENAL! I was screaming and sobbing at each song that came on. I know they forfeited World is Mine this year, but I do believe it was for the greater good so we could hear some songs we don’t usually hear! The candy shop theming this year was actually SO cute and I was very happy about it because it fits my aesthetic so well!! 🌈🍡🍬🍭

I shed so many happy tears and made so many memories, met many nice people and some friends I knew online who made the trip. I got my first piece of confetti, and all the merch I wanted for this year! I even went to the Georgia Aquarium to see my very first whale shark, and that was a magical experience as well. I know everyone on here is talking about how much they miss Miku already, or have post concert depression, which is very sad. However, Miku herself has always made it known, that no matter the distance, she is always with you. When you cosplay her, draw her, listen or make music with her, you are always connected. 🩷🎶🎨🎹🌈

Looking forward to 2028! 🎀

I think I ruined Vocaloid for myself.

So I decided to go to the Newark show for Miku Expo ‘26 and it was a blast it was honestly so much fun and everyone was amazing. However ever since that show, the post concert depression has been so real. It to the point now to we’re if I listen to a Vocaloid song that comes up in my Spotify feed I start to get sad because nothing will ever come close to the experience that I had at the concert and now I’m desperately waiting for 2028 to come so I can go again.

Also as a side post, are there any plans for a release of a commune’ connect figure, I’ve been desperately trying to find out cause that’s prob one of my favorite miku designs.

Did Hamilton’s show have 18,000 people?

My parents love to brag to other people that I was at a concert (this one). They keep telling people that there was 18,000 people. Is that really an accurate number?

If anyone has a duplicate holographic Cotton Candy card, I have a Lolly duplicate I'm willing to trade

Maybe unpopular now but I still don't love the screen. It just doesn't blend in!

I went to the Boston one and we were unhappy with the view. Maybe it was because we were on the top balcony, but you could clearly see she was obviously on a TV screen and there were props behind it (like this one odd 'tower') that made the 'cut off' at the top obvious.

I'm frustrated by the fact that most of the fandom seems to have forgotten what we had and are simply choosing to accept it as normal now. Crypton enshittified Miku Expo, why are we letting them do this to us?

I expect this to be buried. You can disagree if you want, its your right. I'm just frustrated because I can no longer see this sentiment anywhere and I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Does everyone else just not see what I'm seeing?

Dammit post concert depression sucks

Some time has passed since the show in Hamilton. For me as someone who has been a largely a closeted fan of vocaloid and japanese music irl I'm glad that i got over my nerves enough to go to the miku expo but now that show is over I'm a upset that it finished. I have read others in the past talking about dealing with post concert depression but I never thought that I'd feel it like this if i ever got the chance to go but dammit this felling sucks. Thinking about it now that im writing this down i kind of wished I tried to talk to people well I was there but whatever now maybe next time.
