The Megmats from Zelda 2

I always thought that the Megmats were little flea guys, with the white dot on their head being their eyes and the larger white portion being their beards. but after looking at the official artwork the “beard” looks more like a snout. with the black pixels near the top being eyes.

honestly I still have no idea what I’m looking at.

I /can't/ be the only one who thought Green's eyes were a toothy frown with braces right? Only realized what they're supposed to look like after seeing fanart post beating Chapter 5 😭

I can't be the only one that used to think for the longest time the Nihilanth was supposed to look like a goofy buck toothed gopher type creature

I only found out today it's meant to be scary and not have a silly nose or buck teeth cuz of Black Mesa.
