Hey all! Absolutely love the sub and the photos you all have been sharing! After rolling the last few years with my iPhone 15 Pro Max my wife got me my first camera for my birthday and I'm excited to dive in! She got me a Canon EOS R50 and have started watching tutorial videos and how to get the most out of it. It came with the 18-45mm lens.
Knowing I'll primarily be shooting IMSA/sportscar racing at tracks like Road America, VIR and Road Atlanta what are some lenses that won't be too expensive but will get me closer shots? I think short term a second battery and probably a second SD card are at the top of the list too, what would you all dive into first?
Thank you for any help!
(pictures are from VIR and Petit Le Mans last year taken on my iPhone)
Hey, I wanted to share some of my Pictures made during the 24h Race.
Im open for any questions! :D
Spent a few hours at Spa today. They were setting up for the Spa Classic. Decided to try some wide angle stuff.
Hope you guys enjoy!
Last weekend was my first time shooting a motorsport event on a filmcamera, the Canon EOS 3.
Pretty awesome to see the BMW M1 Procar on the stages.
Just a couple of pics I took yesterday.
