I'm looking for fellow Travelers who would like to help turn Epic World into a true community planet.
The planet is located in the Eissentam Galaxy and already has its first community-built welcome base at the Portal.
The goal is to slowly create a world filled with unique player bases while preserving the planet's natural beauty. Build whatever inspires you—cozy homes, towers, farms, cafés, observatories, or anything else that fits the landscape.
Everyone is welcome, whether you're a new player or a veteran builder.
Portal glyphs are included in the images/video.
If you're not in Eissentam yet, you can use one of the featured bases at the Space Anomaly teleporter that's located in the Eissentam Galaxy. Once you're there, simply use the portal glyphs to travel to Epic World.
Hope to see some new neighbors soon! 🚀🌍
Was looking for a spot for a tiny little island getaway… ended up building a damn compound lol. Design feedback is welcome!!!
Not sure how to do Step 2, though...
My last base was build around a 64-edge circle. This one is made from a 96-edge circle as I wanted to make the outer ring larger for an orbital base.
If there is no power, the Short-Range Teleporters won't work. There are doors on the top, in the middle on one side, and the bottom layer with the larger landing pads. None on the outer ring. If you enter via the bottom doors (where the main landing pads are), look for a missing floor panel behind the teleporter to get in.
The central core is 4 layers (service with landing pads, mechanical, mercantile, and relaxation). The outer ring is for playing with Exocraft. Finally, there is a control room suspended above everything with the Base Computer and Base Teleporter.
I added shrunk alternate landing pads on the struts, which worked rather well. Taking off from them feels fantastic!
The outer ring has three miniaturized Exocraft for racing around the ring, which is rather fun.
There are some in-construction shots near the end.
In retrospect, I should have made this in orbit but it was more of a test of a larger circle when I started that then grew a tad.
This is already at 3,000 base parts. For larger bases, more is definitely needed to let us decorate properly :)

Tried building a somewhat compact farm to focus on getting materials to make use of the processing foods mechanics. theres also a runaway mold farm for those who want some nanites. feel free to visit and build in the same planet if you find it interesting!
I've always loved Sci-fi and imagining worlds like those in my mind. Living in them.
I have around 3000+ hours playing NMS and have build lots of bases, but now I'm at a stage where I wanted to create my imagination worlds somewhere where they could be lived, felt, experienced.
My latest creations are in sync with my fictional corporation "Space Mining Universal" imagined decades ago, hence my nms moniker "SMU". Its a intergalactic mining corporation that builds infrastructure for mining resources that are leased to its customers.
I have some stories, characters, brands, and other material regarding the SMU lore. I'm also setting up a website where all the lore can be found with complementing images, that I will post when it's done so you can check it out. There will be small side stories related to the builds.
Anyway I leave you here with a little creation of mine, which is basically a small "village" with an industrial area for SMU workers to live in or take some time off from logistics. This build is created with 2 bases, and around 6000 pieces.
I created it on this planet just for the looks, I wasn't trying to make anything really usable, just trying to create a Blade Runner type of vibe. The atmosphere, the ambiance was the most important part of this build.
All buildings and rooms are enterable. Due to piece limit, I only decorated the best apartments with the best views, but as I said, you can enter every building and room you see.
It's a layered construction as it has a top level that connects both parts of the complex and a ground level where it's more densely packed with stores and street life.
All my builds will have an SMU building or construction, where its workers can land and enjoy a little rest in their lounge areas before they get to the next contract. There is always security present. The SMU buildings are recognizable by its black and gold (sometimes white) paint scheme.
This build will be up for a month and then deleted because it doesn't serve a purpose other than for me to explore the different aesthetics I want to integrate in the future builds.

So I was void walking in my underground gigantic Dome, under a floating mountain in a shadow Galaxy, and I was just thinking, this is some next level s*** !!!
What are some of the things you've done in the game that are sort of next level.
My thanks to traveller Windsurfer for getting me to G256.
I decided to move my old space station to a less crowded system so it would be easier for other travellers to find and visit (the previous one was too old to be visible anymore). I made this new one slightly smaller so I wouldn’t use up all my parts on the architecture and would still have enough left for the furniture (I always try to stay around the 3000 parts limit for my bases).
So here’s my new low-orbit space station! It was quite a challenge to fit everything I wanted while staying within that 3000 parts limit, but I’m quite happy with the result. The weather and the view are way nicer here too!
Did my second sky base but I’m adding more to this one.
One day, I will stick with my original plan. This build was supposed to be half the size, lol. I still have not reached the limit though. Interior is almost done.
I just need someone to portal to my system to check how many bases are visible to them on my planet if possible
Coordinates in the comments thank you!
Eat, drink, and be merry in this secluded mountain retreat in the Swarm Expedition section of the Euclid Galaxy. Located on Planet Flitt in the Lotnoya XI system, Sage's Aerie Lounge and Dance Club is the perfect place to kick back and relax with your fellow Sages (Royals and Weevers are of course welcome as well!)
Unfortunately, I cannot join you there, so please, share a Pic if you visit. The more the merrier!
