To the "enlightened" atheists on this sub: leaving your religion doesn't make you a genius

It's actually hilarious watching some guys on here acting like they unlocked the secrets of the universe just because they left Islam and watched a few Richard Dawkins videos. You guys act so arrogant, thinking you're intellectually superior.

Let’s talk logic. You think it makes sense that this perfectly fine-tuned universe, with all its complex laws of physics, biology, and DNA coding, just popped into existence from absolute nothingness by pure blind chance? The mathematical probability of that is literally zero.

When you actually study Islam objectively, the evidence is overwhelming. The absolute preservation of the Quran (unlike any other historical text), the linguistic miracles, the historical and scientific facts that an illiterate man in the 7th-century desert couldn't possibly have known without divine revelation... it all points to the truth.

Most of the "atheism" on Reddit isn't based on actual theological research; it's just an edgy phase to rebel against cultural trauma or to justify wanting zero moral boundaries.

Being a cynical atheist isn't the intellectual flex you think it is. Drop the arrogance, put aside the Reddit echo-chamber talking points, and do some actual research with an open mind

The state of men in this sub is actually tragic. It’s a circus of weak behavior

I’ve been watching the drama here, and honestly, every single one of you is embarrassing.

First, we have the desperate guys. Begging for a girl's attention on a local Reddit forum because you have zero game in real life. You’re literally simping and boosting the egos of average girls for free. It's pathetic to watch.

Then, we have the "White Knights" and the moral police. The guys writing 500-word essays acting like feminist saviors, complaining about the dating posts. You think you’re better? You’re just as thirsty, you just use the "I respect women" act hoping a girl will read it and DM you. It’s the ultimate sneaky beta move.

And the girls? They are just sitting back, bringing zero value, and enjoying the free validation and attention from both the simps and the white knights.

Men, wake up. Stop chasing validation online. Focus on your money, hit the gym, and build your actual value. This weak behavior is exactly why nobody respects you

To all the desperate guys begging for girls here: Have some self-respect (Red Pill truth)

I see people complaining about the dating posts, but for the wrong reasons. The issue isn't that you're "disrespecting women" (like a certain white knight keeps crying about on here). The real issue is that you guys are simping and boosting the egos of average girls who are just here for free validation.

Wake up. Women don't respect desperate guys who beg on Reddit. Women are biologically wired to seek high-value men. If you actually focused on your money, your physique, and your purpose instead of chasing girls online, they would be chasing you.

Stop acting like thirsty betas. Build your value. And to the guys writing long essays acting like feminist saviors hoping for a crumb of female attention: it’s actually pathetic. Women don't respect "nice guys" either

The guy complaining about "dating posts" is literally creating drama out of nothing

Is anyone else getting tired of that one dude acting like the moral police of r/Nador? He’s making whole posts and arguing for hours in the comments just to prove he’s the "ultimate respect-women savior" just because a few guys posted looking for friends or dates.

Bro is fighting invisible enemies and creating a massive problem out of thin air just to get some female validation. The irony is that his endless crying and drama are ruining the sub way more than the 2 or 3 dating posts ever did.

If u don't like a post, literally just scroll past it. It’s Reddit, not a real-life parliament. Stop acting like the main character and touch some grass

Is Tarifit disappearing in Nador?

I have recently been seeing more and more posts on social media claiming that Darija is now spoken more than Tarifit (Tmazight) in Nador. They also claim that even the original inhabitants, especially the younger generation, no longer speak Tarifit. Is this true?

Why are women treated like literal property in religion? Let's look at Islam

honestly, i never really cared about how religions treat women. as a guy, it just didn't affect me so i didn't care. but lately i was thinking... one day i might have a daughter or a wife, and imagining them living under these oppressive systems actually makes me sick.

i did some reading on the origins of the hijab in islam, and it's wild. it wasn't even the prophet's original idea. his wives used to go out at night to an open field to relieve themselves. umar ibn al-khattab kept pressuring the prophet to veil his wives, but he didn't listen. one night, his wife sawdah went out, and umar literally called out to her in the dark saying "we recognize you, sawdah!" just to prove a point. she complained to the prophet, and suddenly, the verse of hijab drops (Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 59). the whole point was just to distinguish "free women" from slaves so the free ones wouldn't get harassed.

then there's the child marriage. muhammad marrying aisha when she was 6 and consummating at 9. when i was a muslim i tried to make excuses for this, but if you do the research, it's undeniable. child marriage was so normalized that companions could marry literal infants.

and it gets worse with war captives. after raiding tribes, some companions actually felt guilty about having sex with captured female slaves (especially because some of these women still had living husbands). but the prophet basically gave them the green light, saying women that your "right hand possesses" are totally lawful to sleep with.

does this honestly sound like the absolute morality of a prophet sent by a perfect, timeless God? or just a 7th-century man doing 7th-century warlord things? thoughts?

For the people who thought I was exaggerating about the dating obsession 💀

I made a post earlier complaining about how our subs are basically turning into cheap dating apps. A lot of you agreed, but some people in the comments were literally trying to defend this behavior by blaming it on "colonization" and "genetics" 😭.

Then I literally just scrolled and saw this (check the screenshot). This is the biggest example of exactly what I'm talking about. No deep historical or philosophical reasons, just pure thirst. Can we finally stop making excuses and admit this is ruining our communities?

What's up with the dating obsession in Moroccan/Arab subs?

I've been on Reddit for years, and I spend most of my time in Western subs because people actually discuss cool ideas and interesting topics. But whenever I check out Moroccan or Arab communities, it's literally just people looking for a girlfriend, talking about dating, or begging for friends.

It’s honestly so weird. The quality of discussions is just dropping, and this trend is only getting worse over time. Am I the only one who finds this annoying?

speaking partner

salam, i am currently learning moroccan darija and looking for someone who i can practice my speaking with via calls. I already know some basic stuff but my two main problems are that i am lacking vocabulary why i cant express myself well in most cases and cant understand almost anything and my listening is also still very bad. so if anyone would like to practice with me over some calls every now and then, feel free to reach out. it would also be great if you could be patient with me since i don't understand much darija yet and I can't keep up when people speak quickly.

Hear me out: The Creator abandoned us, and religions are just political tools. Thoughts

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately, and I have a theory about the "Creator". I believe that while a Creator might exist, he basically created us and then completely abandoned us. He left us to our own devices and simply doesn't care about what happens down here.

Because of this, I've come to the conclusion that all organized religions are purely human-made constructs. They weren't sent from above; they were designed for mass control, political agendas, and the personal gain of those in power.

Let’s look at a couple of major examples:

Islam:

After the Prophet died, the companions basically compiled the Quran and religious texts to fit their own narratives and political climates. The Quran didn't just drop from the sky as a complete book; it was compiled twice—first under Uthman, and then subjected to more standardization during the Umayyad Caliphate. If it’s the absolute, uncorrupted word of God, why was it subjected to so much human editing, political influence, and differing versions early on?

Christianity:

It’s the same story here. There is absolutely zero solid, historical proof regarding who actually wrote the Gospels. They obviously weren't written by Jesus, and most historians agree they weren't even written by his direct followers. They were written by anonymous authors decades later. People claim it was Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, but I highly doubt that. If you actually do the research, the Gospels were written around the end of the 1st century (around 100 AD).

Here is the controversial part:

If an all-knowing, all-powerful God really wanted to send a timeless, universal message to guide humanity, why would he rely on a decades-long game of telephone? Why rely on ancient, easily manipulated texts that have been heavily edited by politicians and empires for centuries?

Doesn't it make way more sense that we are just an abandoned science experiment, and opportunistic humans simply used the fear of "God" to build empires and control the masses?

I really want to hear other perspectives on this. What do you guys think? Am I missing something here?
