based on the squonk, a sad cryptic creature who is so ugly, people die from it. poor guy.

medallium dex entry: enduriphant has changed since heading for BBQ. Now he seem's to have forgotten about endurance and instead is kidnapping people, talking strangely and is even researching about yokai that are meant to never even return! we fear he may want to ascend to their pantheon...

His design and lore is a mix between the man eating mammoth cryptid Atipa Tacoba and Chaugnar Faugn from lovecraft. These two were what led me to create an enduiphant evolution where he want's to acsend to become a mighty eldritch being.

medallium dex entry: prickwudgie has become corrupted! Now he attacks and harms any who go in the woods. even after the dead cloud's destruction, prickwudgie's reputation amongst humans still hasn't recovered...

trade quote: “Hehehe...looks like I got a new playmate!”

freed from crank a kai: "Hehehe...looks like deadtime ain't around...you are MY minion now!"

these last two are based on the puckwudgie, a creature in wampanoag folklore who once tried helping humans only to turn on them out of spite and jelousy. I chose to make prickwudgie's case more tragic to give a wider effect dame deadtime's plan had on the world.

Sigh-durr has evolved into quite the toxic little archer! Inspired by poison apples and poison tip arrows! Sigh-durr is another one of those underrepped yokai watch 3 additions that could really use an evolution, so i provided that!

Rot-shot is a B rank of the brave tribe! Hes an earth attribute with the soultimate "toxic barrage!" Which inspirits his opponents with chip damage!

seems like the next event is water park themed with Sighborg Y being the water slide. seems like Mika is involved as well.

Since kids these days haven't even heard of the series. Nor do they care. What's left of the series name is now primarily targeting adults. Going by what I've heard, most fans these days are in their early or mid-twenties. And with the Pachinko machines, more recent PP collabs, that's definitely the case. I mean, on Puni-Puni you can spend A LOT of money for rewards. The kind of money kids don't have.

Overall, I think Level 5 has realized Yo-kai Watch is washed-up when concerning their younger demographic. But for older fans who are still holding to the ashes the franchise is now, they're the ones Level 5 is going for. Yo-kai watch is like the toy you got your child, but the child threw it away soon after & you picked it out of the trash and you're playing with it. Any thoughts?
