Ima be honest, I didn't wanna do this one. Ken-ou is kinda emblematic of the problems with modern puni puni.

But the people wanted it, so i gave it... but because this is my challenge and I can do what I want, I made it gayer! :p

This best match is a monster movie double feature!

Midnight has the power of flight and stealth, like a shadow on a moonlit night! You'd have better odds fighting a phantom!

And Kaiju has pure raw power! Be in crushing jaws, stomping claws or a plasma beam that packs an absolute punch!

Paired together and you make a monster of two different worlds! You'd best be prepared if you cross this form!

And to toot my own horn, the custom fullbottles were fun to make~!

Midnight Ressha- runs with the force of the afterlife, this haunted train has birthed many an urban legend.

Kaiju Ressha- is it a machine? Or giant beast from the depths? Either way, avoid those jaws.

I ended up watching a boss compilation of Denshattack which is... an autistic weeb's fever dream, and it inspired me to make my own rail related nonsense! XD

An unexpected kamen rider toybox update, commissed by Future past, presenting the mysterious Kamen rider Wind-Up! (Oc)

I wasn't expecting to add more riders before id even finished the pilot comic, but when you get paid to do it ya kinda have to! XD

Future past wanted a ballerina music box themed rider, and i did my best to deliver.

I wanna state now, Wind-up would not be the tertiary rider, if anything were to come of this concept, she'd probably be an extra rider/antagonist of one of the specials. Not sure which.

Enigmatic, graceful, and silent as a mouse, Kamen Rider Wind-up was a rather strange character to appear. Unlike Kitbash, who quickly proved himself an allie to toybox, Wind-up has never taken any action against the toy kaijin. If anything, her only desires after appearing seemed be observing and fighting with the other riders. The reason for this is unknown...

She transforms with the Wind-up driver. A smaller device that seems to follow the same principles as the toybox driver, though a bit more clock-work in its construction. The most apparent difference is it employs the use of a wind-up key instead of a hand crank.

Its yet another strange driver based on Dr. Carlo's intial design, that was built without his knowledge.

I didn't initially plan for this addition to my ever evolving lore...but now that it exists, I have a feeling i might get some milage out of it. >:3c

Swan Song is an odd Toyblox for a number of reasons. Obviously, Carlo didn't build her, but thats not the particularly odd part. Swan song was the name of a music box Dr. Carlo made in his younger years, before establishing Starfall Toys as the popular toy manufacturer it is today.

Swan Song had a limited run, little success and was ultimately swallowed by the years. So it begs the question... Who would know enough about Swan Song to make a toyblox of it?

Casual Waruna (oc)

Probably my favorite minor character in Master detective archives: raincode, I wanted to draw Waruna in a casual fit for a while, but have been putting it off.

I pulled in some Lolita inspiration from her mystery phantom design(which is probably one of the better ones in the game~!) And the logo was inspired by the loading screen trivia "waruna feeds alley cats by the river banks." Love that shes kinda a "tough girl with a lot of empathy"

Oh, and the little last name i added "Stormbreaker" is from the "Raincode new game plus" series on ao3, which is a rewrite of the game if certain characters didn't die. Its real fun, check it out if youre interested!

Since six different riders have used cards for their drivers, are they any other previous rider gimmicks you'd like a new rider to take up?

Like, cards are probably the easier gimmick to reuse but i was thinking about "maybe another rider could use USB's like W, or Coins like Ooo's, or whistles like Kiva" and wondered if anyone else had thought about this

Wild theory im throwing out: the p6 cast's persona will be based on classic movie monsters

I said this on the main persona sub a few weeks ago but it got taken down, but i still think im on to something.

The p4 casts were all Japanese gods to fit with the rural Japanese local. The phantom theives' personas were all famous outlaws to fit with the theme of rebellion against social convention.

I believe with the obvious horror themeing that we know p6 will have, that its characters will make use of the famous horror icons that defined the genre. Dracula, the wolfman, Frankenstein, zombies! Monsters that have lined haunted our dreams as long as horror has been a genre!

Anywho, watch me be completely wrong in 2 or 3 years. :p
