Hi! I’m currently using a MacBook and will be taking the NMAT soon. Unfortunately, I don’t have anyone to borrow a Windows laptop from since my brothers are away.

For those who took the NMAT using a MacBook, how did it go? Were there any issues with the testing platform, browser, camera/mic, or anything else during the exam?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience! I just want to make sure that using a MacBook won’t cause any problems on exam day. 🥹

Why am I seeing so many high-PR posts from people who took the January–May cycle? I rarely see posts from those who took the October cycle. :(

Kasi iirc yung mga materials ngayon na nasa learnworlds is only hanngang october lsng daw huhu and remove access na. Im also debating ngayon if ill re enroll or not kasi hindi pwede maka avail ng fc lang😔

Can I achieve a high NMAT PR through self-study alone, without enrolling in a review center? 🥹

I am about to just start studying for NMAT and I'm taking it this October. Am I too late or has anyone ever studied for even less than a month and got their desired PR? I'm so worried.

Im currentlu navigating the website and wala naman ako nakita. kasi afaik 1st cycle is October and Jan and 2nd cycle is april-may and you can register once per cycle lang. so if youre taking january you can retake agad pag ka april. please correct me if im wrong

Sir Mal is knowledgeable and clearly knows what he is teaching, but he seems to have very little patience. I'm genuinely concerned kung bakit palagi siyang highblood. Nung una, gets ko kung bakit niya pinagsasabihan yung mga students na paulit-ulit ang tanong, pero parang madalas siyang mag-snap sa students niya kapag nagtatanong, kahit may sense naman yung tanong ng bata. He would entertain the questions, sure, but not without pointing out how "dumb" the questions were. I know we have different opinions about this, but for me, as a teacher, you have to understand that not everyone has the same level of understanding of the lessons. Some might get the topics instantly because they've already encountered them multiple times, while others might not understand them as quickly because these concepts weren't really used or encountered during their undergraduate studies. I'm not saying na hindi mo puwedeng pagsabihan ang students mo. What I'm trying to say is that you could be more patient and understanding. Pwede mo namang sabihin na panoorin na lang yung recording kung ayaw mo nang i-address yung question ng student, without getting angry or irritated. Because when you get mad every time someone asks a question, it creates an environment where students become afraid to ask questions.

Minsan napapaisip ako kung ganyan ka rin ba sa mga patients mo or magiging patients mo. Siyempre, hindi naman maiiwasan na may makulit na pasyente na maraming tanong dahil hindi niya naiintindihan yung sakit na mayroon siya.

If you read this, Sir, I hope you don't get mad. Katulad ng sinabi mo sa amin noon, "Magdo-doctor tapos ayaw mapagsabihan." I think that also applies to you. You also said na huwag umattend ng class kung pagod or hindi okay. I get it, kasi hindi nga naman maiintindihan nang mabuti ng bata ang lesson kapag hindi siya in a good condition. But that also applies to you, Sir.

I think one of the factors kung bakit mabilis kang mag-snap ay dahil baka pagod ka. You look physically tired, and based on your tone, you also seem tired of the students' questions.

Ayun lang po, I hope you're getting enough rest para naman hindi ka na ma-highblood.

First time pong mag-NMAT here! Ask lang po ako ng ilang question and hingi na rin po ng tips sa inyo 🥹

1. Is it possible po ba na makakuha ng 80+ PR through self review? (hindi po sana ako mag-revcen since baka mag-clash sa sched ng revcen ko sa board exam)

2. What topics po ang covered ng NMAT? Any youtube channel po na nag-ddiscuss ng NMAT topics?

3. Allowed po ba ang macbook (macbook air m1 specifically) sa NMAT? If not, okay lang po ba if nakacharge ang device while taking the exam?
