Hello future docs! I would just like to ask if you guys are experiencing the same thing: I'm trying to visit the NMAT website, but it keeps saying:
If you still have to install Drupal, proceed to the installation page.
If you have already finished installing Drupal, this either means that the username and password information in your settings.php file is incorrect or that we can't connect to the MySQL database server. This could mean your hosting provider's database server is down.
The MySQL error was: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111 "Connection refused").
Currently, the username is cemincor_nmat and the database server is localhost.
For more help, see the Installation and upgrading handbook. If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your hosting provider.
Do you guys have the same problem?
Hi recruiters! I wanted to ask for your perspective.
As a fresh graduate, is it better to include all internship experiences on my CV, or should I only list the ones directly related to the role I'm applying for?
For example, if I'm applying for a Management Trainee or HR position, would you recommend including both my HR internship and my clinical psychology internship, or should I only highlight the HR one?
I'm torn because my clinical psychology internship at a specific child center still demonstrates transferable skills and the value I contributed, but I'm also wondering if recruiters might see it as irrelevant or even a red flag.
I've also seen different opinions here. Some say that since fresh graduates have limited professional experience, it's better to showcase everything you've done and achieved. Others recommend tailoring your CV so it only includes experiences relevant to the position.
For context, I also plan to include my education, extracurricular activities, and achievements. The internship section is the only part I'm unsure about.
I'd really appreciate hearing recruiters' thoughts on this. Thanks!
Hi po! I'm an incoming 4th-year student from one of the Big 3 universities, and I'm planning to pursue a career in Human Resources after graduation. I just wanted to ask those who are already working in HR (or recently graduated): how much was your starting salary as a fresh graduate?
My brothers told me that I should expect around 18k since they think that's the typical starting salary for HR roles. However, I wanted to hear from people who are actually in the field to get a more realistic idea of the current job market.
If you don't mind sharing, I'd also appreciate it if you could include:
• Your HR role (Recruitment, HR Generalist, Compensation & Bene
• Industry (FMCG, BPO, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, etc.)
• Location (Metro Manila or province)
• Company size (startup, local company, or multinational)
• Your starting salary and the year you started
• Your salary now and years of experience.
I'm just trying to set realistic expectations and better understand what fresh graduates can expect in today's HR job market. Thank you so much!

Hi, guys! Would like to ask lang if possible ba na magkaroon ang mga HR roles ng starting salary of 30k if fresh grad pa lang?
I’m from the Big 4, with leadership roles (executive level) in multiple organizations, latin honors, and other competencies.
