I sent an email to the PI of the unit I applied in early May about my application process. I have been really anxious about this since I have got nowhere to go. He didnt reply me and now it is late May, so I wonder if I should write him another email to ask about the application. I know the result will be annouced in mid June. I am just too anxious about this

From what I heard some applicants were contacted by PIs after a month telling them they got shortlisted.
