NEED ATTENTION!! (Regarding OIST research internship)

Anyone who has selected for this OIST research internship, can you please share your tips on how to write SOP, and CV.

I'm a Data Science graduate, personally I always loved working in japan, or for any kind of career purpose.

I genuinely don't want to lose this opportunity, since the selection is totally based on the documents we submit.

Please, help me with this if anyone got selected before, you can also share yours by hiding your personal details for an idea, or I will just share my documents for review, so that I can move forward with uploading.

Regarding OIST internship.

It's been already an year since I graduated, and i came across this OIST research internship, since I was always interested in working in japan, I was literally fond of it. I am thinking of applying, at least giving a try with hope.

But coming to the recommendation letter section, I am concerned about what to do here, should I ask our hod to be the recommender, or can I got with any faculty that I know from other college( government college where my father is the professor) .

Abroad planning roadmap(exams, college fees, scholarships, visa planning)

Hi everyone,

I graduated in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in Data Science, I was placed in Tech Mahindra in our campus placements, in April they started training us for 1-2 months later they told us that there would be an exam, we have been waiting for the exam preparing everyday, three months passed and there was no update from the company, later they started ghosting us. Then I started preparing for gate within very less time which didn't even get me to qualifying stage.

And since March I've been searching for job.

And the thing is I always thought of abroad studies, but never had guidance, I thought I would do job for 1 or 2 years and then plan for masters, but sadly 1 years has already passed without any work experience.

This time I don't wanna do this mistake again, whether I get job or not, I wanna start planning for abroad from now, maybe I can make it by next year August.

So anyone who already went abroad from India, with technical background, let me know what are the consequences of going abroad for masters with no experience and also how to plan when we're really interested to do masters.

I have no idea about all those scholarships, please let me know some of which are actually useful and reliable.

Basically, I need a roadmap from scratch to move abroad as a person with no guidance.

From exams, searching college universities, fees, scholarships, visa planning, to the day I'm ready to go.

Has anyone actually completed an AIESEC Global Talent internship?

Hi everyone,

I've recently come across AIESEC Global Talent internships, and on paper it honestly feels like exactly what I've been looking for—international exposure, professional experience, meeting people from different countries, and getting to travel while building my career.

But before I spend weeks applying, I really want to hear from people who have actually gone through the process.

Here are my questions:

1)Is AIESEC genuinely reliable and worth it?

2)Has anyone here applied on their own, got selected, and completed a Global Talent internship? How was your overall experience?

3)Did the internship actually help your career afterwards?

4)Were the companies and internships legitimate?

5)Was the recruitment process transparent?

6)Are there any hidden costs or things you wish you had known before applying?

7)I noticed there's a participation fee after selection. Did you feel it was worth paying? Did you ever regret it?

8)If you get selected, are you obligated to pay the fee and accept the internship, or can you decline if you change your mind?

9)How much support did AIESEC actually provide during the internship (visa guidance, accommodation support, local help, etc.)?

A little about me:

I'm a 2025 B.Tech Data Science graduate from India. I've unfortunately been at home for the past year. I prepared for GATE, but things didn't work out as planned. During this time, I've continued learning and building my skills, but I don't have any professional work experience or internships.

That's why AIESEC caught my attention. It feels like the kind of opportunity that could help me restart my career while also giving me international exposure and the chance to meet people from around the world.

One concern I have is whether a one-year gap with no work experience would significantly hurt my chances. If I have the required technical skills for a role, do companies participating through AIESEC still consider candidates like me?

I honestly don't even know if I'll get selected. But my bigger concern right now is whether it's worth investing my time applying in the first place. I don't want to spend weeks applying if most opportunities aren't genuine or if the overall experience isn't as good as it seems.

So if you've personally participated in an AIESEC internship—or know someone who has—I'd really appreciate hearing your honest experience. The good, the bad, the unexpected... anything that would help someone who's trying to decide whether to give it a shot.

Thanks in advance!

22F | Moving to Hyderabad soon | Looking for female friends

Hi everyone!

I'm a 22-year-old female, a 2025 graduate, and I'm finally planning to move from my hometown to Hyderabad for at least a month.

To be honest, I've been feeling stuck for a long time. Time keeps passing, months go by, and I feel like I'm still standing in the same place. So instead of waiting any longer, I've decided to take a step forward and move out.

The plan is to stay in a PG, explore coaching institutes, prepare for upcoming IT hiring drives, and hopefully get my career back on track.

The only thing I'm nervous about is that it'll be my first time living away from home, and I don't really have friends in Hyderabad. I know a few people there, but not anyone I'm close enough to hang out with regularly.

So I thought I'd ask here:

Are there any girls around my age in Hyderabad who are in a similar situation? Maybe you're also a 2025 graduate, unemployed, preparing for placements, looking for coaching, or simply trying to figure out your career.

I'd genuinely love to connect with people who are also trying to build their future. We could study together, explore coaching options, motivate each other, share opportunities, or even just grab coffee and remind each other that we're not alone in this phase.

I honestly feel lost right now and don't have all the answers. If you're someone who's a little confused about life but still wants to keep moving forward, maybe we can figure things out together.

Girls only, please, since I can't tell my parents that I'm moving to hyd trusting a guy I found on reddit, even girls are unrealistic but idk we can talk at least,

At least I'll know that I'm not alone.

Feel free to comment or DM me if you'd like to connect.

I don't even have an internship expected, literally zero experience, i fcked up my 3rd and 4th year due to personal issues and the result is clearly showing today, but seriously if anything seems to workout to you guys please let me know.

Looking for genuine female friendships (Andhra Pradesh/Telugu)

This post is only for girls because I'm a woman looking to make genuine female friends.

I'm 22 years old (turning 23 next month) and I'm from Andhra Pradesh. I graduated in 2025, and I'm still looking for a job. To be honest, this past year has been really difficult. I've been feeling like I'm losing my motivation, and one thing I've realized is how much I miss having close friends.

I do have a few friends, but everyone is busy with their own lives now—some are working, some are pursuing master's degrees, and we've naturally drifted apart. I don't blame them, but it has made me realize how much I crave meaningful friendships.

Being unemployed isn't the only reason I'm posting this. I've just never really found "my people"—friends I truly vibe with. I'm looking for the kind of friendship where we support each other, grow together, talk about life and our careers, try new things, attend workshops or summits, travel together someday, and simply be there for each other through different stages of life.

Over the past year, I prepared for GATE but unfortunately didn't qualify. After that, I shifted my focus to job hunting, and I'm still hoping to land a good opportunity soon. During this journey, I've often wished I had friends to share the ups and downs with, discuss career goals, motivate each other, and also just have fun conversations about everyday life.

For now, I'm trying to find such friendships online. I'd especially love to connect with Telugu girls since communication is easier and there's a chance we could eventually meet in real life if we become good friends.

So if you're also looking for a genuine female friendship, feel free to reach out. Maybe we'll become the friends we've both been searching for. ❤️

1 year after graduation and still lost — IT, GATE, or government jobs?

I’m 2025 graduate from Andhra Pradesh (graduated from a local college near Rajahmundry around May–June 2025), and I genuinely feel stuck and need guidance.

I got placed in Tech Mahindra through campus placements. After placement, they told us there would be an exam before onboarding, so I spent around 2–3 months preparing for that.

But after all that, they barely gave any updates. No proper communication, no clear timeline, nothing.

Because of that uncertainty, I shifted my focus to GATE. But I had limited time and limited resources, so I couldn’t prepare properly. I didn’t crack it — not even qualify.

After GATE, I started learning full stack development and DSA. I’m still learning, but nothing feels like it’s working.

The biggest problem is: I don’t know when I’ll feel “ready.”

Sometimes I feel like I’m stuck in an endless loop of learning — one course after another, one roadmap after another — while the industry is already moving fast with AI.

I keep asking myself:

Should I continue in IT?

Should I pivot to AI/Data?

Should I prepare for government jobs?

Should I join coaching somewhere?

I’m willing to work hard. I’m willing to learn anything. I’m not lazy or unwilling to put effort.

But I feel like I completely lack guidance.

My father suggests government jobs, but that path also feels highly competitive and uncertain. I don’t know which exams are realistic for me, or which coaching centers are actually worth joining.

Even for IT coaching, I don’t know where to go or what domain makes sense in mid-2026.

If I stay at home and keep learning without direction, I’m scared time will keep passing and I’ll still be nowhere.

Another pressure is marriage talks from relatives and constant discussions with parents. That honestly scares me more than exams.

I feel like I need one path to commit to and give my 100%.

So I want practical advice from people who’ve been through something similar:

  1. If I continue in IT, what domain should I focus on in 2026?

  2. Is IT coaching worth it? If yes, where — Hyderabad or Bangalore? Which institutes?

  3. If government jobs are a better option, which exams should I realistically target now?

  4. Which coaching institutes are actually good for government prep?

I’m not looking for motivation or sugarcoating. I just need direction.

What would you do if you were in my place?

Looking for job

Hi guys..I'm a 2025 graduate. And I applied for Infosys in April but I couldn't attend the exam due to my personal reasons.

I'm not just waiting for Infosys, I'm also trying for other jobs, but these days I'm doing dsa overall.

And I wonder when will infosys hire again?

Is there a chance that infosys might hire 2025 batch again?

Or it's just closed for 2025 batch??
