Can I buy just one? Pretty please?

My right earbud dropped out of my ear and it's just...gone. Like, GONE gone.

Literally stripped the bed; took the pillow out of its case; poked around with a flashlight under the bed (oh God SO MANY dustbunnies 😬) ...and nothing. At this point I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that neither my cat nor my vacuum cleaner ate it.

All that said: is there any way to just buy one earbud? Please? I need sleep!

Am I doing something wrong?

Hello everyone,

I bought the Ozlo Sleepbuds recently because my girlfriend snores a lot (and loudly). I really loved the concept of falling asleep to pleasant and relaxing background sounds.

However, after testing them for a few nights, I'm incredibly disappointed and starting to wonder if I'm missing something, or if this is just how the product is.

- The noise masking is useless at normal volumes: To actually drown out or mask the snoring, I am forced to crank the volume up to at least 70% or 80%. At that level, the white/brown noise becomes way too loud and aggressive.

- Zero passive isolation: When I put them in without any sound playing, it literally feels like I’m wearing nothing. Honestly, cheap Quies foam earplugs do a significantly better job at blocking the physical sound of snoring. (And yes, I tried switching to the smaller silicone tips to get a better seal, but it didn't change anything).

Am I using them wrong, or is this just a known limitation of the product? If you need an 80% volume blast to hide loud snoring, I don't really see the point of a $250+ device. For those who have been disappointed by the Ozlo for loud snoring, would the Soundcore Sleep A30 be a better alternative? I know they have ANC, but I've seen mixed reviews on whether their ANC is actually a gimmick or helpful for this specific issue.

Thanks for your help and feedback! 🙏🏼

NEED FIX Bluetooth streaming loosing connection since last update

My Ozlo sleep buds are now pretty much non-functional since updating to the latest firmware, no problems prior to that, definitely the update introduced a regression.

I can connect and start streaming but only at 30cm distance from the case otherwise loosing the sound (cracks when loosing signal).

UP VOTE THIS IF YOU NEED A FIX AS WELL

Devs need to roll out a fix ASAP !

PS : Im on Android.

One problem solved easily (quieting bud)

Thankfully, I haven’t had disconnection issues on my current set of Ozlo buds but was noticing the left bud going quiet over time.
IMPORTANT-I consistently sleep on my left and despite regular cleaning, I’m guessing eventually the gunk/moisture from my ear is making its way into the complex gubbings in the tiny device.
After reaching out to Charlie/Naro via PN a new bud is on its way-within days!
I know that there is a lot of frustration around this product but this particular issue is not surprising given where we are shoving it our ears (sweaty for some, and naturally wax producing) over 50 hours a week.
My only wish is that Ozlo could develop a better/more efficient/longer lasting way of keeping wax out of the inner mechanism rather than improving sleep tracking at this point.
Wishing you all sweet dreams-sleep is so important!!!

No sound in right earbud until about 2am every morning

Well - these are my second pair of Ozlos in about a year. I think it's time to move on to another brand but before I do - has anyone experienced no sound in one earbud until a certain time every night?

Each night I go to bed and there is no sound coming out of my right earbud until about 2am every morning. This is crazy...... my husband is already looking into a new brand but thought I would put something out here to see if anyone has a suggestion of something that might work........

Best Way to Preserve Battery Life?

New Ozlo owner and I love them so far. They drown out the noise from upstairs neighbors when I’m sleeping, which is all I wanted them for.

I only use these for 7-9 hours a night when I sleep. The rest of the time, they live in their case.

But I’m wondering if I should be unplugging that case as soon as they hit a full charge? If I leave them in the closed, plugged in case all day, will that deplete the battery faster and speed up the timeline on when I’ll need to replace these?

I bought this brand specifically because I like that I don’t have to be connected to Bluetooth to use them/I can listen to white noise while I sleep and with Bluetooth disabled. But I’m trying to preserve their lifespan before I have to replace them…

Any tips would be much appreciated!

Second pair and my left bud has lost sound again. Am I best off contacting support for a replacement, or am I best off shopping around for other brands?

I’ve loved these Sleepbuds since the original Bose ones, but like everyone suffered battery issues with the first generation, and sound issues with the second.

When my Sleepbuds 2 finally died, I jumped on the kickstarter for Ozlos where I got just over a year out of them before my left bud started losing volume. I tried playing with the volume, the Bluetooth connection, firmware updates and there was also no wax blocking any of them either but they wouldn’t fix.

I contacted support just in case there were any known bugs with the kickstarter versions, and they were kind enough to swap out the unit for me.

Six months have just gone by and the left bud has gone again over the last week or so. Again, tried the volumes, firmware, no wax blockages. It’s well and truly gone after six months.

I’m in two minds about seeing if I can get a replacement again, or shopping around for new brands. I’m happy with my Ozlo buds but six months of life this time round has really put me off now

Left bud bluetooth bit the dust...again

I bought my Ozlos December 2024. After two of the updates last year, bluetooth failed in my left ear bud. Ozlo was kind enough to replace it, but a scant four months later, the bud will no longer support bluetooth more than a few inches from the base.

I did NOT update with the last update. No, this was an issue with the bud. When I put it in, there was a loud crackle, and that was it.

Ozlo sounds still work. And I can leave the left bud in the case and get bluetooth in the right bud, which I did last night.

So now, I'm left with less than ideal options.

The sale is still going on for new Ozlos, but it's still a hefty price. I could try buying a replacement bud, again but I'm pretty sure these are refurbished and considering how fast it died, probably not a great option. I won't spend $75.00 on a bud that dies in four months.

Not interested in Anker. I've read about the problems they've had and I won't sleep with that bulky thing in my ear.

I could stick with the built-in sounds, but Ozlo never has matched Bose when it comes to the quality of sleep sounds. I find them irritating.

Or I could put a speaker by the bed, turn up the sound, and bag using any kind of sleep buds.

Sigh. I really miss my Bose sleep buds.

Same issue as others since update

Streaming only works if case is within 6-12 Inches of sleepbuds. I also purchased these for the ability to stream. Very disappointed that the recent firmware update basically bricked them. I also started getting that loud static pop.before they cut out.

Thank you Ozlo

I just wanted to say thank you (Charlie, Naro) for such wonderful customer service. I bought mine back when it was a kick starter. It’s had a few bugs but customer service has been A+

Ozlo or an30

So my ozlo sleepbuds are coming close to end of life after about 2 years since the left bud lost about 90% of the volume.

I have been pretty happy with them and been a user since first generation of Bose sleepbuds.

I have read a couple of threads here about people changing to the an30 and they could not be happier. So of course i am a bit interested in them.

However when looking in the an30 forums and discussions people there are for sure not happy with them. The anc are crap and useless against snoring, they are uncomfortable and you can not sleep on the side and the battery is extremely bad.

My experience with ozlo is that they are comfortable, blocks snoring pretty well and battery is not that bad at all.

So where is the truth?
What do people who have used both and are not biased by anger about the latest issue they just had, think about the two of them?

Amazon or direct from Ozlo?

Which is better to buy from (in Canada), Amazon or directly from the Ozlo website? In terms of returns or help if there are problems.

Pair with a non-phone option?

Hi Ozlo,

I love your sleep buds. First pair was a few years ago, second pair more recent. It is saving my ability to sleep in the same bed with my husband!

However, I find it difficult sometimes to sleep with my phone in the same room. I would love an option to work with some MP3 player that connects to the internet - but doesn’t have the other distractions that my brain KNOWS comes with my phone.

I looked on the FAQ and it doesn’t appear something like that exists yet. Apple doesn’t appear to want to bring back the iPod (i tried it just now with a refurbished iPod, but it doesn’t have an up to date iOS so doesn’t work). If I had to guess, they want me to remain addicted to their phone 😭

Any options in the future??
Thanks!!

My roommates left behind what I assume are Bose sleepbuds. Anything I should do with them?

How can I check if they're working? The case takes charge and it lights up but I was reading up that the app is discontinued.

Are these just E-waste? Are they worth anything? Can you use them as earbuds?
