Help me out with the cleaning of my ps4 pro
I'm planning to clean my ps4 pro cause it sounds like a jet engine whenever I play any game.
So my question is should I apply both thermal paste(MX 4) and thermal pads or only paste is enough.

Wasn't a fan of the design but lowkey grew on me over the years.

The PS4 Pro is still a very capable console, and I believe future system software updates could further improve its performance without changing the hardware.
Here are some suggestions:
• Optimize CPU scheduling to reduce unnecessary background overhead. • Improve memory (RAM) management to make better use of the available 8 GB of GDDR5. • Optimize storage access for both internal HDDs and external USB SSDs to reduce loading times. • Improve the system cache to reduce repeated data loading. • Optimize the graphics pipeline and command scheduling for more consistent frame times. • Reduce unnecessary operating system background processes while a game is running. • Improve thermal and power management to maintain stable performance during long gaming sessions. • Further optimize the PlayStation system software to make better use of the existing Jaguar CPU and AMD Radeon GPU. • Improve system-level I/O efficiency for faster asset streaming. • Continue refining system stability and overall responsiveness.
Potential benefits:
The PS4 Pro still has excellent hardware, and continued software optimization could help millions of players enjoy an even better experience.
Thank you to the PlayStation engineering team for continuing to support the PS4 Pro.
Hello everyone.
Recently I bought a new PS4 Pro, and Skyrim but this game run very badly on my console.
Out of the Helgen Cave it runs at 20/25 FPS, because native 4K in my opinion is too much intensive.
So I tried to install the "Force 1080p Resolution" mod, but nothing changed.
I will be very glad if someone help me bevause Skyrim is my favourite game and this is unplayable on PS4 Pro in my opinion.
Thank you and sorry for my english.
Currently playing Ghost Of Tsushima & really enjoying it, what game should I start with after that? Any PS4 game recommendations will be helpful, currently installing Hogwarts Legacy btw
I picked up some broken systems and have finally gotten around to repairing them. This PS4 was last online in 2015, currently running 1.76.
Is this firmware version is still known as the “golden age” release for jailbreaking and is it valuable?
Just got a used PS4 Pro. I've already got a 512GB NVMe SSD pulled from my old Surface Pro 4.
So what's the move?
· Keep the stock 1TB HDD (more space, but slow)
· Buy an M.2-to-SATA adapter and throw in the SSD (faster, but half the capacity)
I know it'll be bottlenecked by SATA, but is the speed bump still noticeable on a PS4 Pro? Worth losing 500GB over?
-what console looks better cosmetic-wise
Other is taking 58 gb for no reason how can I clear it ?
Soy de los que no le gusta desinstalar los juegos y quiero más memoria para mí ps4, agradecería cualquier consejo al respecto.
I own a PS4 Pro bought in India.
I was facing an issue had it repaired at a third party. The issue was the device wasnt turning on. No blue light, nothing. Just dead. He said he needed to order a part and quoted quite a high price. I didn't ask too many details because I had a good experience with him last time, so there was a little trust.
First red flag - He kept the device for almost 3 weeks saying the part delivery is getting delayed.
Second red flag - When asked he said he needed to change something related to display when my issue was power related.
Third and major red flag - The power port is different now, and my original cable doesn't fit anymore.
I know the whole thing reeks of a scam. But I'm willing to give him a benefit of doubt because the place is quite old and reputable in my city.
My question is, did he just replace the power port and scam me for a high price? I'm genuinely scared to go back to him now even for the power port because if he really is scamming me, he might just say some more bullshit and charge me more.
Any tips for Bloodborne? I've played the other Soulsborne games :-)
