Need help finding a tinted SPF this isn’t dark orange. Pic is Tower 28 in shade .5 Fairfax. It’s supposed to be “fair with pink undertones” but all I see is dark orange.

The lightest Ilia tinted serum shades sort of worked for me, but I didn’t love how they applied, they always just slipped around on my face. I had one bottle of Colorescience that was great, and then the next bottle was dark orange.

Right now I’m looking at Saie and Merit but I’m afraid they’ll also be super dark.

Edit to add: I have rosacea so can only use mineral SPF.

I’ve never been able to find a foundation that matches me perfectly. Everything is always too dark, too orange, or too pink. This has led me down a road of mixing pigments to try to find a shade match.

I’ve had a lot of people recommend the L.A. Girl blue pigment to me, but it has never worked for me. Somehow, my face would still look too peachy compared to my neck, so I’d normally opt for a green mixer, which sometimes leaned too yellow.

Well, today I mixed this pastel blue foundation from Glisten Cosmetics into my foundation, and omfg, it’s finally the perfect shade!!😭🩵

I’ve recently discovered that i am cool tone and I’m fairly new to doing makeup. I also did this to see if i liked my current blush and bronzer. (I don’t LOL)

I hope this makes sense, but I like the look of a slightly peachy-pink lipstick (specifically peachy-pink, though, that leans more pink than peach, not an orange-coral peach, and I feel you don't really see true pink-peach shades as much in general these days, even for warmer undertones). However, as someone with a muted cooler undertone, anything actually marketed as being peach will just look straight-up orange and really unflattering on me. Colour-theory-wise, I wondered if there's a lipstick shade that would give the effect of a peachy-pink lip on a person with a cooler undertone, even if it doesn't necessarily look like a peach-pink in the tube. I feel like slowly I’m finally narrowing down a makeup routine at my big age of 31 that looks flattering but I still feel like I am doing something wrong or something always looks off. I struggle to find lip colors that don’t look out of place on my face, and my eyebrows are always going to be a point of contention for me because they sit pretty low so I tend to re-draw them a little higher, but they’re also a bit thick so they end up looking heavy and I’m afraid to tweeze them any higher. What can I change to make everything look less out of place on my face??

i know it’s still a tad too yellow, but this is the closest i have ever come to understanding what it’s like to have a perfect match. when i asked the sephora employee which side of my face looked better (was comparing it to tower 28) they said this one was undetectable

have been wearing Haus Labs 60 which isn’t a perfect match but 15 was too light

i posted here a few weeks ago and the main consensus was that my makeup was too warm for me, so I ditched my warmer palettes/lippies and this is the result! i like it a lot better!!

i also used zero setting powder this time, just the no poreblem primer and tirtir setting spray
