Hello everyone! I’ve been on the hunt for a moisturizing foundation that matches my skin tone. I was recommended Shiseido after Haus Labs turned out slightly off. Here are all of my foundations swatched side by side in different lighting. Disclaimer- My iPhone camera picks up my skin as pink when I’m actually quite neutral and sometimes green!

I’m not sure how I feel about the Shiseido yet; it matches my hand perfectly, but my hand is multiple shades darker than my neck (I really need to wear sunscreen while doing my nails 😵‍💫)

This might be a foundation I’m tempted to mix with white/blue, because the shade is quite nice. That being said, I still need to do a wear test, so it might not even need a mixer. I will update you guys once it goes on the face! :)

When blended out, Made by Mitchell is my closest match throughout lighting changes, but the doe-foot applicator breeds bacteria like crazy and breaks me out.

The shade is 015 Fair with rosy undertones.

The formula is really nice for my dry skin, but it’s too expensive just for it not to match.

I really don’t want to have to buy the white mixer just to get it to work 🥲

Any moisturizing foundation recommendations for extremely dry and flaky skin?

I've tried enticing him with a sardine-scented pinky, but he seems uninterested. I'm giving him a break and just letting him exist for a while before I try feeding again. I would love to know how long it took everyone else's hogs to eat, along with any tips you have!!

My ball and corn have very good feeding responses, but I know hogs are notorious for their dramatic hunger strikes, so I'm not too worried.

Hi all! This is my first time micro-needling such a big area, and I was wondering if this looks normal? Usually I just have even flushing after micro-needling but my stomach looks splotchy? My tummy is very textured from loose skin and stretch marks so I’m leaning towards that being the reason it looks the way it does, but I want to make sure.

I only use sterile saline and pure hyaluronic acid as a slip. It didn’t hurt at all while I was micro-needling and honestly just kind of tickled? There was no redness afterwards and zero bleeding. I did this last night at 1.5 depth, and this is the morning after.

First picture is how it looks in real life and second picture is close up with the flash.

I’m scared of the possibility of granulomas and haven’t been able to find a good reference picture of what that actually looks like on the stomach, so i appreciate anyone who helps!!

I bought her off of eBay and she arrived absolutely reeking of mildew and covered in glue seepage. She also conveniently had a large yellow spot smack dab in the middle of her forehead. None of this information was listed in the description, I probably should’ve just returned her.. but alas, I persisted.

I spent an hour or so using peroxide and a UV lamp and successfully removed her stain. I washed her hair with multiple different solutions until I finally gave in and drove to the store for some CIF (which only partially worked) Then I let her soak in vinegar to get rid of the nasty moldy mildew smell. Finally I spent the last 3 hours hand sewing her a little jacket.

I still need to paint her boots black, but I’m pretty happy with how she turned out! 🥳

Iv been blessed with the spider distribution system! Iv been looking for one of these babies for yearssss. They immediately jumped onto my hand and let me take them inside. I’m so happy I found him/her. Now.. what shall I name them ? 🧐
