Bar and gambling hall used as the album artwork for “Cowboys from Hell.”
Fun fact: The man farthest right is likely Marshall Kenny McLean, who was Police Chief.
Book
Why hasn’t there been a book like Motley Crues ‘the dirt’. I feel like that would be super badass and I want to know more stories of what happened behind the scenes instead of getting a small glimpse with documentary’s like ‘behind the music’

My problem with Far Beyond Driven
Okay, I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but for some reason, I just can't listen to this whole album. I've listened to all of Pantera's albums (well, not really I’m missing the ’80s ones, but you get the idea) I can listen to them all the way through, and the more I do, the more I like the songs, from Cowboys from Hell to Reinventing the Steel. Except for one album: Far Beyond Driven. I can listen to this album from the first song up to I’m Broken, but after that, I just can’t keep listening to it. I’ve given what’s considered Pantera’s best album many chances, but for some reason I still don’t understand, I can’t bring myself to finish listening to it. Mind you, it’s not that I don’t like it; in fact, it has some of my favorite Pantera songs, like I’m Broken or 5 Minutes Alone. It’s just that after I’m Broken, it doesn’t quite win me over, so I switch to another album or another song. That’s my problem with Far Beyond Driven, and I hope you understand or can offer some advice so I can finally enjoy this album, which I know deep down is wonderful.
I think the main rift of Medicine Man goes incredibly hard.
That is all.
On this day, 19 years ago, Dimebag was posthumously inducted into the Hollywood RockWalk.
