I'm looking into getting a Pico 4 Ultra headset to swap my half-broken Quest 2. I'm a competitive H3VR (hotdogs horseshoes & hand grenades) Player, so for me the most important bits are simply:
Is the controller tracking consistent? In sense of, I can have the controller semi close to headset/my face. My Q2 might have a deadzone on controller and drifts off to the right when I try to ADS (aim down sights)
How good is the battery life? I plan to run it wirelessly, and maybe get a battery pack to extend the battery life to up to 5-6 hours. Primarely will be used as PCVR Headset, not standalone.
This isn't too related to H3VR, but more for VRChat, and animating:

Are there any known eye tracking modules for Ultra? I know Enterprise/Pro have Face/Eye tracking, but I'd rather buy something that's new, instead of looking at ebay trying to get scolded with shipping prices.
And do the pico motion FBT modules (full body tracking) compatible with the Pico 4 ultra?

Accessories n such stuff I am not too concerned about, as my main worry is if the headset will not disconnect randomly or drift off to 6th dimention in middle of a holdout.

So with me being both a big vr lover, and a Subnautica fan. I've been hoping that Unknown Worlds Entertainment Would make a vr version of Subnautica 2, but i know that would be really expensive, and that they are still working on Subnautica 2, but I will compromise that when they finish Subnautica 2 they should make a vr stand alone. listen to my math real quick , since vr consoles have not been selling much latly and many people love Subnautica. If Subnautica anouced a vr only Subnautica then all their player would go to buy a headset to play it, But Unknown Worlds Entertainment doesnt have the resources to make this banger of a game here's where my marketing strategy comes in- as said before vr isn't selling well so meta need reasons for people to buy a vr well they could work with Unknown Worlds Entertainment to help build and sell this game. plus they could sell a vr headset bundle that if bought the headset would come with this game Plz Unknown Worlds Entertainment im begging

I've run into an issue where I can't find VRChat in the Pico Store. Also, for some reason, the Pico Store is in Chinese — hieroglyphs everywhere. I was only able to create an account using my phone number. As I understand it, I have a Pico 4 Ultra with Chinese firmware. My question is — where can I get the VRChat APK file? I've just got the neo 3 link as my first vr headset and after a session i sweat alot so i was wondering if anyone know anywhere i can buy some leather or silicone face covers to replace/cover the default fabric ones. much appreciated

Hello guys, I've just got a Pico 4 and have been super excited about it, but I just noticed that when I launch SteamVR it looks waaaaaaaay worse than the Pico 4's default menu. Still haven't gotten games from the pico store since every game I bought was from steam.

I've tried looking at the settings from Pico Connect and SteamVR, but haven't managed to stop the image looking blurry in Steam VR (even when adjusting the eye resolution there).

Can someone please help me out about what I'm doing wrong?

Hello, my question is directed to those who own or have used the Pico 4 Ultra or Meta Quest 3, using them 99% for PCVR with a high-end PC.

Currently, I own a standard Pico 4; previously, I had a Quest 2. For me, switching from the Quest 2 to the Pico 4 was AMAZING — it’s superior to the Q2 in absolutely everything: comfort, usability, PC connectivity, image quality, etc.

I’m thinking about upgrading in the near future, but I’m unsure whether to go for a Pico 4 Ultra or a Quest 3. From what I’ve seen, the lenses and display of the Pico 4 Ultra are the same as the Pico 4 Standard, but with a higher rendering resolution.

For those who have tried both (Quest 3 and Pico 4 Ultra), which do you think offers the better overall experience for PCVR (considering comfort, connectivity, and image quality)?

One major point that attracts me to Pico is the trackers. I mostly play VRChat, and currently use the 3 trackers supported by the Pico 4 Standard. I was planning to upgrade to the 5 trackers supported by the Pico 4 Ultra.

Considering this use case, which would be the better final choice?

Just got a Pico 4 Ultra and managed to get Steam VR working once, and now it won't connect again - headset not detected. Lots of advice on forums seems to be talking about older software like streaming assistant and openxr.

Can you tell me a basic checklist of what I need to connect to SteamVR pls and what order to run the various bits of software.

Connecting wired with new USB3 cable. I have Connect App on PC and headset. I also have Pico Link which seemed to be what got Steam working first time. Checked openvr paths which has one entry for pico link driver. I can use the connect app and see the desktop on the PC so I know it's connected. Pico Link says everything is ok.
