Disappointed with device switching on Soundcore P30i. Any good replacements?

I have some Bose QC over the ear headphones but I can’t wear them with certain hats on my walks so I decided to pick up some cheap earbuds. On the Bose I can cycle through the connected devices quickly with the button on the headphones. Apparently this is not as common anymore as multipoint has become more popular.

However, I don’t want multipoint, I want just 1 connected device at a time (ideally I can set a primary to default to) and then a quick way to toggle between devices without having to disable Bluetooth on the devices.

With multipoint it will auto connect to all my devices one of which is an Apple TV. So if I enable it then it will connect to the TV even if someone else is watching, which I want to avoid.

Are there any budget earbuds with ANC that can act like this?

For PCVR have you found any games which won’t support the Pico 4 controllers (but do support motion controls)?

I’m just curious, since Q3 and P4 controllers are so similar, have you come across any games that support Q3 controllers but not P4 controller?

I like to buy games when they’re on sale but I don’t start them immediately so it’s kind of a waste of money if I boot it up and it doesn’t work with the controllers.

Is Japan normally 2.5x more expensive to fly to at the end of the year? Or is something happening?

Hi, I had finally planned to go to Japan this year and I could have sworn when I check a few months ago tickets from my location were ~900-1000 for end of December. I can’t request my vacation for another few weeks but flights are now $2500. I know there is a premium on flights around holidays but it seems for Japan it is much higher. A similar length domestic flight is only about 10% more around this time. Is something happening in Japan around this time to drive prices up this much? If it were just oil prices I would expect all flights to be this much more expensive and I can see the month before this is the normal rate.

How are other AR devices hitting 90 degree FOV? Worth selling One Pros now?

I was under the impression that most of these glasses are limited to a max of ~57 degrees due to the physics of the prism style optics. However I saw some not yet released (but soon to be on the market) AR glasses with a claimed 90 degree FOV. I’m aware Aura claims 70 but I was reading that’s likely an exaggeration because it’s only increasing the horizontal width. Not sure if I can mention the other glasses here as they are not XReal but I was curious if it’s worth selling the One Pros now to get a higher FOV set of frames? It seems like we will be seeing larger FOVs the next 12 months.

Any possible way to make using an OG Switch actually convenient?

I understand this is Nintendo’s fault entirely but I figured since I have a Switch 1 already and not a Steam Deck that I would have been able to use the adapter and a battery pack to connect to my Switch, but it seems that puts the Switch in docked mode and then the attached joy cons won’t work.

Are there any all in one solutions around this? Closest I could find were things like the Nitro Deck or Viture Pro Dock but even then it either doesn’t have a battery pack so I would have this giant Switch dock and then another giant battery hanging off the back or it has a battery but won’t allow me to keep the joy con attached. I’m trying to avoid having a cable mess.

Possible to shift the screen placement in follow mode?

When I’m using the follow mode I am noticing it tends to position the screen lower than I like and it tends to cut off the bottom of the content I am viewing. Is it possible to have it shift the screen placement higher in this mode?

So I beat this game on explorer mode, but my buddy likes to play at the highest difficulty so we’re doing an honor run. He’s beat it on tactician. There’s no multiclassing in explorer mode so I was hoping someone could clarify some things for me and give me some party advice. We’re currently at level 3 going to be level 4 soon.

So I know around level 5 most martial classes get a second attack. Some like Wyll get a 2nd EB. But let’s say I do Wyll as Warlock 4/Sorcerer 1, his total level is 5 but only 4 in Warlock. Does he still get a second blast? Or do I have to put 5 into at least one martial class to get that extra attack?

As far as party, I am a Duergar Gloom Ranger with Archery focus. I was thinking to try the Gloom Assassin build since they get natural invisibility at level 5.

We have Laezael with the everburn, SH as the standard cleric, and my buddy is playing as a Wizard.

However, I am now realizing that honor mode means you need every possible advantage so I was thinking of a few things, but I don’t want to flat out cheese the game.

I could swap out Lae’zael for Wyll and then reclassify my character as an Arcane Archer with 2 levels of warlock to get devils sight. Then use Wyll to cast darkness and hide inside the darkness and the wizard can use it too and step out to cast. The rest of the party can use the darkness as cover and SH can be reclassed to life cleric to heal as needed and cast sanctuary to avoid damage. Or we can spec her to be a radiant orb build which I did like in my previous playthrough.

I like the arcane archer for the banishing arrows. However the alternative is to instead go for a high AC build using a multiclass of fighter/cleric/wizard/bard. I’d be 25+ AC at level 4 (using some spells). Though I am told if my AC is this high then the other characters will get attacked more. If Wyll is in darkness and SH can’t be targeted then my buddy’s wizard might get killed a lot.

One thing I don’t understand, with 25+ AC is that only good for melee damage? Or is that all damage? Could certain spells still succeed with damage? Things like fireball, fire bolt, etc.

Also, is darkness still viable in the latest build? Or do more enemies have grenades or certain items to throw into darkness?
