Happy July 4th to anyone celebrating today. 🎇

To everyone outside the US, please enjoy watching us celebrate our country’s 250th birthday the only way we know how... loud noises, greasy grilled food, flags everywhere, mass consumption, and pretending tomorrow is not going to feel slightly rough, lol. 🌭🎆

Pigment Pour Daily is still here doing what it does, tiny tubes, stubborn colors, questionable pour decisions, and one more daily puzzle to either conquer gracefully or angrily reset three times and be counted on The Reckoning leaderboard as an abandon.

You helped Pigment Pour hit its first milestone. Now I want to donate the initial $500 earned to do some good...

Pigment Pour Daily hit its first Reddit Developer Funds milestone for June. 🎉😍💪

I got the note that the game reached Tier 1, which means a $500 payout if everything clears as expected in about 6 weeks. That only happened because people here have been playing, giving feedback, reporting bugs, sharing ideas, and helping the game find its place.

r/PigmentPourDaily is starting to create a small amount of real world value, and that only happened because this community showed up. I do not want to turn that into a gimmick or a contest. I just want to take the first payout, once it clears, and use it for something positive.

So here’s the plan:

I’m going to donate the full $500 to a registered nonprofit or verifiable charitable organization, and I’d like the community to help choose where it goes.

Drop charity or cause suggestions in the comments. I’ll pull together a short list of established organizations, maybe do simple poll so the community can help pick the recipient.

Some guardrails:

  • No purchase, donation, upvote, share, or gameplay is required.
  • This is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Reddit.
  • I’m not collecting money from anyone.
  • I’ll post proof after the donation is made.

Thank you for helping Pigment Pour Daily get this far. It is a very small milestone, but it feels worth celebrating the right way.

🧪Big update incoming soon... here's what I plan to ship (and I want your ideas)

Hey Pigment Pour Daily crew! I've been heads down building and there's a fat update on the way. Wanted to give you a peek and, honestly, ask what YOU want next.

🧭 The big one... an "All Puzzles" page

Finally. One place to see every single puzzle in the game... all your dailies grouped by month, plus every Bonus and Hard board... with a checkmark on the ones you've already solved and how many Redditors have cracked each one. Tap any board and jump right in. No more hunting around or endlessly scrolling Reddit for the bonus and hard puzzles wondering where they went.

This one's thanks to two of you who basically asked for the same thing... u/cyclika and u/Havelanca. You called it. Daily-Pipes-style "just let me see everything" navigation... it's here.

🎨 Coming soon... pick your OWN background color

Right now you get a set of background environments (and a lot of you simply use the default Studio Obscura, or maybe don't know it can't be swapped, ha). But, next up... a color picker. Full color wheel. Don't want pure black? Make it whatever color you want. Your board, your vibe.

A pile of fixes too... and who caught them

  • Red and pink had nearly identical colorblind symbols (both circles)... pink's now a hollow diamond so they actually read differently. Great catch and thanks again to u/Havelanca.
  • Your "clean rate" wasn't counting clean REPLAYS... so a perfect run could still show 0%. Fixed. Also thanks to u/Havelanca for spotting that one.
  • "Better than X%" was showing a deflating low number even when you tied the best possible score on the tough boards... it now knows when you nailed the optimal and stops insulting you for it. Thanks to u/poetress for reminding me this was maybe silly to show.
  • Some of you on your phones had the bottom buttons cut off on the sides... squished them into clean icons so everything fits now. Big thanks u/DigPsychological4496 for the report and screenshot.

🙋 Now... what do YOU want to see?

This is the real question. I want to improve this experience based on what you all tell me. So... what's missing? What would make you keep coming back? Achievements? A way to challenge a friend? Different vibes? Drop it in the comments. If it's good, I'll build it and credit you right here in the next post.
