How to help Mexican Fan palm adapt to newer climate faster? (Desc)

(First image above is from today. The second image is from last Wednesday)
I know it’s definitely a challenge to try and grow a mexican fan palm in Clovis, NM in zone 7a/7b, but it’s been done in my city before. Right now I’m just worried about the recent shipping stress I’ve seen the plant endure since it arrived last week. I know it’ll take a bit to acclimate to my climate, but my main issue right now is that the moisture in the soil is evaporating much too quickly for the palms taste (dry summer heat) causing the center frond to start to curl and fold in. Another thing I’ve noticed too is some frond droop. Today I took some more measures, moving the palm into a more shady area, as well as putting the black plastic pot into a larger pot to avoid direct sun hitting it (and adding some light mulch around the soil). Another thing I did was give the soil a decent watering this morning at 7, running water at a smooth trickle for about 5 minutes, as the soil and pot have crazy fast drainage. I’m planning on repotting when I can, but I just need some advice on helping it to adapt better.

I’m watering my friend’s garden and have been watering the leaves, will this kill the plant?

I have been taking care of my friends garden while she is away and I learned today that I shouldn’t water the actual leaves of a plant but instead just directly water the soil. I have been watering this way for 5 days and all the plants seem fine. Will this kill the plant after I have been doing this for 5 days or will it be ok if I stop now? Is there a way to remedy this or should I just make sure to just water the soil moving forward?

I need some serious help/guidance with my neglected plants please 🥺

Okay so I've neglected a few of my bigger plants over the past 2 years, not pruning and/or repotting them. Growth is stunted and/or leaves are dropping. I was hoping for some advice.

First up we have my leggy, but mature monstera. I last repotted this guy maybe 4 or so years ago, in a pot much too big and installed a moss pole. Over the years it grew beautiful leaves with fenestrations, sitting in a sun spot in front of a floor to ceiling window. A few lower, smaller leaves got scorched in the sun. I moved home 2 years ago, and it is now sat under a ceiling window and has put out maybe one or two new leaves in the meantime. Its become very leggy, and I'm considering doing a big chop and repotting the cuttings. Any advice or thoughts would be much appreciated as I've never done this before.

Second, we have a potted pothos, which i bought a year or so ago while already mature. It had a pole installed which it had successfully grown up and stuck to, however the pole is not extendable. It has outgrown its pole, has started dropping lower leaves and is beginning to look sad and less full.

I'm considering either:

- Just pruning the top overgrowth and letting it be; or

- trying to prise it off the current pole (if possible) and transferring it onto a new, extendable pole to sustain continued future growth (i have a very high ceiling).

Any thoughts?

Finally, a rubber plant that has no leaves at all on its original main stem. It has two baby stems with good leaf growth which has sprouted from the bottom. I'm considering doing a hard prune, chopping the main stem completely off so that the plant can refocus all its energy on those two new shoots. If I were to do this, where would be best to chop and are there any practical considerations that I should make?

Please let me know if this post sits best elsewhere. Many thanks in advance - any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Plant transport issues?

Hi! i'm new to gardening and all i know is get sunlight and water plants lol. I recently am trying to grow my own basil, cherry husky tomatoes, jalapeños, red and yellow peppers, strawberries, and cilantro. Basil and cherry tomatoes look great and i've had them for a few weeks.

I bought a small planter box from Lowe's yesterday and put in 2 kinds of sweet peppers and jalapeño peppers. bought the plants from lowe's as well, then repotted them. They looked awesome in their new home! Well this morning I woke up to water them and a few of the leaves are wilting/curling at the ends. I googled the issue and it said could be the plants adjusting to the new location/transport. The garden box is in direct sun, although today it's cloudy all day. Not sure what i've done wrong:(

**pic 1 is from yesterday right after i planted them and labeled them all**

All the other pics are from today. So confused!!

Can I put a grow light on a window plant for more light?

I don’t know if my title makes sense but I have a hibiscus in the brightest window of my house and it’s still leaning into the window so I think it wants more light. If I put a grow light over it will that provide more light on top of the light from the window. I can’t put it outside because I don’t have a place I can put it like a plant stand without my neighbors puppy destroying it. It’s not dying or anything, it’s flowering daily and is clearly bigger than when I bought it, I just don’t think it’s thriving as much as it could be. The only issue I’ve been having is brown leaves because I’m either over or under watering but I don’t think that’s related to the lean. I did include a picture in case that affected anything (I am not a photographer don’t judge the bad photos)

New to plant life. Seeking assistance

Very new to plant dad life. Acquired a couple worse for the wear plants from someone moving out of my building. One being this monstera. Had only two very brown leaves when I got it. I did some quick YouTube learning to revive it. Soil change, new pot etc. Have gotten 4-5 new leaves since I’ve brought it home and been really excited about that. However, now I want it to grow bigger and more beautiful. I’ve purchased a moss pole and grafting tape but not 100% I’m utilizing them correctly. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. I’ve attached photos to show what I currently have setup and would love advice to better my plant. Thank you all in advance!

How to take care of this plant?

This plant only has been with me for one week, and it looks pretty hard to take care of. Initially it had a lot of yellow leafs so I cutted all of it. It seemed fine. Next few days some brown spots grew and I chooped it off again. Next thing I know it got very wilted. I just replanted it in a new pot, the soil was pretty bad. What can I do to take better care of it? Is this plant really this hard or am I doing something wrong?

Help! Something is wrong with my plants!

Can anybody tell me what’s going on with my plants? I have a snake plant, philodendron, and algaonema. I recently repotted the snake plants. These plants get indirect sunlight, a couple of weeks ago I changed the direction of my blinds because I felt like they were getting too much sun. I watered the snake plants after about a week after repotting. The others are growing in water. I used an organic succulent mix for the snake plants when I repotted them. I also did recently give them a liquid fertilizing as well.
