So I had this problem for a while now that if sometimes im playing for an hour and sometimes 5 hours that my screen suddenly turns black and 10 seconds after the ps5 shuts off automatically.
My ps5 is only 3 weeks old so it would be weird to be a hardware issue.
Anybody has had the same problem?
I can connect and use it well on my laptop but suddenly its not connecting to my ps5 anymore i tried every method even resetting it but still nothing, would appreciate some help.
I did nothing wrong and my account was permanently suspended. I did not violate any terms as far as I know. I'm baffled. Two days ago I changed my email address and updated my 2nd factor settings. Today my account is suspended without warning or explanation. I tried going through their website support page and chatting with an agent, and he abruptly ended the conversation and said he couldn't help me, even after I correctly confirmed the information he asked for. I've had this account for about 10 years. I lost access to all the games I had paid for. They say I can create a new account, as if that'll make it okay. What else can I do? I'm done with Sony.

So i recently bought a physical copy of uncharted 3 and the last of us and when i put them in the console and go into the game, in uncharted 3 it just doesn't go past the ring loading screen, and when i go into the last of us it does go into the main menu but when i try to go into a game it just stays in the loading screen, does anyone know a possible solution to this problem? i already tried rebuilding data base, restore file system and deleting the updates of the games, i would apreciate any help, thanks.
Help, my drive isn't recognizing the disc, and I want to know if it's because it isn't spinning or if it's a laser issue. It could also be a mechanical problem. Here is the sound it makes.

i received an email from playstation that says: „you recently accepted the following PlayStation terms […]“ although i never accepted something at the time the mail was sent because i didn‘t used my account for months?
The last time i used my account i logged it in on my ps4. There i accepted the terms sony released in april. After accepting the terms i got instantly an similar mail, but not exact the same. But now i did nothing like that. I didn‘t used my account for more than two months.
Does anyone got the same mail or does anyone know why a mail like that were sent?
I also checked the mail adress the mail was sent from its an official playstation mail.

Hola a todos, espero que estéis muy bien. Tengo una duda sobre el almacenamiento de PS3 y quería contar todo el contexto para que podáis entender exactamente lo que me ha ocurrido.
Tengo una PS3 con el HDD original de 320 GB, de la marca Toshiba. Como tenía un HDD de unos 640 GB procedente de un portátil ((Sony VAIO)) que ya no utilizaba, decidí sustituir el disco de la PS3. Antes hice una copia de seguridad de los juegos que tenía descargados en el HDD original de 320 GB.
Después tuve que formatear el HDD de 640 GB, instalar el sistema correspondiente con HEN y esperar varias ((horas)) a que terminara de restaurarse la copia de seguridad. En general, todo funcionó correctamente, pero empecé a tener algunos problemas.
En varias ocasiones tuve que forzar el apagado de la PS3 porque el sistema se quedaba completamente congelado. Además, alguna vez se fue la luz mientras estaba jugando, por lo que la consola se apagó directamente. Al volver a encenderla, los datos aparecían corrompidos y la PS3 tardaba unos minutos en volver a funcionar con normalidad.
El problema que realmente me preocupó ocurrió un día cuando encendí la PS3 para jugar a God of War 1. Me apareció un mensaje que nunca había visto antes, indicando que el sistema de ficheros del almacenamiento estaba dañado y que se iba a restablecer.
Ahí pensé que el HDD de 640 GB podía haber muerto. Poco después, la PS3 dejó de detectarlo y la luz naranja de actividad del almacenamiento ya ni siquiera se encendía. Intenté restaurar/reparar los datos varias veces, pero no funcionó. Finalmente, parecía que el HDD ni siquiera estaba recibiendo alimentación o que la consola ya no lo reconocía.
Por probar, volví a instalar el HDD original de 320 GB que venía de fábrica con la PS3, y de momento funciona correctamente.
Y aquí viene mi duda:
Estoy pensando en comprar un SSD SATA para utilizarlo en la PS3 y evitar, en la medida de lo posible, que vuelva a ocurrir algo parecido.
¿Un SSD es más resistente que un HDD a situaciones como apagados forzados, cortes de luz o bloqueos de la consola?
Entiendo que ningún almacenamiento es inmune a la corrupción de datos si se corta la alimentación mientras se está escribiendo, pero me gustaría saber si un SSD tendría alguna ventaja real en este aspecto frente a un HDD mecánico, o si podría acabar ocurriendo exactamente lo mismo.
También me gustaría saber si los apagados forzados que tuve pudieron ser suficientes para dañar físicamente el HDD de 640 GB o si lo más probable es que simplemente se haya corrompido el sistema de archivos.
¡Gracias de antemano a todos los que podáis aportar vuestra experiencia! Y lamento haber escrito bastante, pero considero que una explicación detallada de cada hecho puede llevar a mejores consejos.
My account was suspended about 2 days after I got back from a weeks vacation I haven't used the account while on vacation when I came back I seen I was signed out of psn I went to sign in and it told me I was suspended for 850 dollars worth of purchases. I can't connect to a live agent and I don't have access to the email associated with the account anymore but I know the information what steps (if any) should I take to attempt to recover my account?
Long rant, likely TMI but Im frustrated as hell. Ok, I made my PSN account back either when I had my PS2 or PS3. I live on the gulf coast of Texas and a hurricane destroyed my childhood house when I was a teenager. I lost everything, including notebooks where I kept backup codes, and my playstations.
That being said I do not have said backup codes or my serial numbers of my original PS's.
I went through a divorce and my ex-wife kinda went nut-so on my phone. So I changed my number. After I changed my number I forgot to do my 2FA's because I was in such a rush to get her to stop texting me the disgusting things she was sending me.
Also: side note. after the divorce I legally changed my name, first and last. I was a junior and named after my dad, a man who abused me, and I didnt want to carry his name anymore.
Now, my PS5 IS currently logged in still. I can access my account and library. The issue is, if I ever get logged out, want to link the account to another service, etc. I cant log in because of 2FA. I know the password, have access to the email.
I used the live chat and its just bots. It said it connected to me a person but 'josh' replied in under 3 seconds to everything I typed with what were clearly automatic replies. Then said with the information I provided they couldn't help me.
I gave them:
Current billing address
Previous billing address
Last 4 and first 4 digits of 2 cards used on the account
My full name and my previous name
Last 4 of my Soical
Email address on the account
Serial number of the PS5 my account is logged into right now
But it wasnt enough information. Then said they would escalate the chat. Then it stayed in escalation for over 4 days, with me asking periodically if I was still connected and the bot said yes. Then it said I wasn't eventually. I tried again and it said I was in the escalation queue but I kept asking for a time I was going to have to wait, kept pushing it to let me talk to a person then it just re-set itself and said I wasnt connected.
Also, it keeps saying, "To talk to a live agent about your 2FA you must log in to your account." after I select continue without logging in...Like...The WHOLE PROBLEM IS I CANT LOG IN...But I have to log in to get help with the fact I cant log in?
I called the support line and I did get to talk to a person. But the phone support guy said that he couldnt update 2FA that it was grayed out and it is exclusivly handled by live-chat. I told him the issue with live chat and he litterally said, "That sucks, Im sorry, but thats a different department" and went ont o explain he was not able to talk to that department either even though its the same company. I was like but I cant talk to anyone in the live chat no one is answering. He just kept saying he couldnt help me. And when I asked for a manager, he said there wasnt one available and wouldnt be one and asked if he could disconnect the call.
How the f do I get this one phone number updated?!
I cannot get my ps4 to connect to wifi consistently. I’m a compete noob when it comes to gaming consoles. This was a gift from my brother in law for my kids. We’ve done all the steps to make it clean of his stuff and I have an account. The ps4 is literally in the room with the router. The Roku tv it’s connected to is working with wifi. I’ve upgraded my WiFi to manage gaming. It recognizes my wifi and I put in the password. Then it spins forever and doesn’t connect. I am baffled as to why. I’ve watched videos, looked at support etc. It has connected a few times successfully but I haven’t done anything different on those occasions. I feel like I’m insane. Any advice?
Got this PS5 (Fat/launch model) second hand — it was cleaned and had the liquid metal reapplied. Still randomly shuts off completely during gameplay, no warning or error codes
Only fix is pulling the power cable and plugging back in.
Happens more with disc games and some online games, but God of War runs fine.
Any ideas what's causing it or how to fix it?

i made a post a year or two back over my ps5 overheating, i could play maybe a game or two and then it will just turn off, completely black and i would have to unplug it all the way just to turn it back on, a few months ago i got it sent out and repaired and for a while it worked fine again, but recently i noticed it started doing it again, i could play maybe and hour or two of my game then it shuts off again, i keep it clean and i give it recommended space and such but its getting worse, few days ago i could play at least 4 outlast trails today i only made it through two, nothing seems to be working idk what to do
The problem: PS Remote Play v9.0.0.2120 crashes immediately on launch or shortly after with an access violation (0xc0000005). Event Viewer shows a .NET Runtime error (Framework v4.0.30319). Reinstalling, repairing .NET Framework, and updating GPU drivers does not help.
The workaround:
Install PS Remote Play 9.0 from Sony's official site: https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/module/win/RemotePlayInstaller.exe
Launch the app and log in to your PSN account
Close the app and uninstall 9.0 completely
Download & Install PS Remote Play 8.5.0, but don't start the app (available on Uptodown) https://ps5-remote-play.en.uptodown.com/windows
Download, extract and run the version patcher as administrator:

note: Dont try and patch the 8.5 installation file! Install 8.5 first
