Need Advice
This is a throwaway account I just made, but anyway, hi everyone. I was recently nominated for the Posse Scholarship in Houston, which was really exciting since I hadn't heard much about it before and was honored that someone nominated me. After looking into the program, I saw the list of partner colleges, and Vanderbilt is really the only school on the list that strongly aligns with what I'm looking for. I talked with my counselor, and she told me that being nominated doesn't guarantee that I'd be matched with Vanderbilt. So I'm wondering whether it's worth going through the application process, or if I should respectfully decline the nomination. Has anyone been in a similar situation or have any advice on what I should do?
