Taking chem and calc this summer

Hi I’m taking just gen chem and calc 1 this summer. How does nova online work? I’ve never done this before. Are the exams from these classes all from your computer at home and with like the lock down browser in camera? I wanted to know if we have to commute to campus for exams. Anything helps !!! Thanks so much

Think neuro program structure

I got accepted to think neuro intensive program. Can anybody tell me how the programs operates and whag we do? Like is it meeting every week? How often? I believe I’m synchronous but I have a conflict this summer and I can’t like actually be in zoom and be interacting fully. I can definitely do asynchronous work on my own and if be happy to operate like that

I have a full scholarship so cost isn’t an issue
I saw a bunch of Reddit posts saying that it was a scam but can anybody clarify what they mean by that?
It any alumni/college space people know anything about it please leave some tips. Anything is helpful

Tldr: what do we do and how much work is it? And how is the schedule

Missing on week of assip

I’m actually so fried like I’m so worried…
I have to miss the first week if my internship because it’s conflicting with a job at this camp…. I don’t Know what to do because I really don’t want to give up the job. Is it bad to ask for the first week off? It’s a hybrid internship so I was thinking it’ll he okay…

HELP IS THIS A SCAM Accepted The Coding School's 2026 National Research Program in collaboration with Columbia University

Got into this program.
- Anybody an alum or know anything bout it, like program structure, what did you, did you have time to network??

I got a scholarship but idk if it's worth it since I got into other programs that are free and I got only part of the cost….. It runs for about a month so idk If I'll have time. Anybody know the acceptance rate? Also if it's possible to do this with another internship?

- cost is a big factor for me but I am very interested in getting research published. Is it guaranteed you get published in a journal?
- also how much do you interact with other people in this program?
- is it just a cash grab to work with these big name unis? Like I don’t wanna just throw 3k like that…
- they said it was prestigious but like I can’t find any stats on it?
- is already have 2 other programs lined up so I was thinking id go with those… but if this one is better for impact i would go with it.
- I want to make the most of the experience and idk if it will be possible if i try to balance it with other programs.

Please if anybody has any tips I’d super appreciate it <\3

Are paid summer programs a good thing?

Ik there’s such a stigma of doing paid programs but like I get it if it’s residential and stuff. But like I got into one that’s paid and it’s virtual . Is that a bad look? It’s a research program.

I just got into both of these programs Girls who code and Kode with klossy and I got into the in person camp for kode with klossy with a full scholarship but I don’t want to the in person and I was going to reject it and ask if they can do the virtual because of the commute… any alums of either of these programs about whether they are helpful/gave you connections or skills?
Also what do colleges think about them? They’re not like super crazy but I’m just wondering.

Hi, I am in a situation where I have an o person internship where I will be busy most or the summer and had to reject other programs that required in person participation.

Are there any program recruiters or programs that are open now that are related to policy/law or stem that are either virtual or asynchronous? I’m also looking to do independent research or take a course as well.

Literally anything helps, also ok curious what is still open. Please leave any recommendations
